As I approached the CS desk for my usual Tuesday night RCs, I was informed that as of tomorrow (11/4) the RC procedure would not be as easy as tonight's. I inquired what the issue was & was told that the new RC would have some kind of "control number" stamped on them & would have to be imputed into their "system" before the RC was issued. Apparently they will be issued on the same RC forms, but will not be valid w/o this new contol #. All older RCs will still be accepted, but can no longer be "reused" if you don't purchase the entire amount.

I'm really getting sick of all HT new or old rules & regulations. I purchased 32 pouches of potato pouches @ Ingles tonight & was treated like a queen. They doubled everything w/ no questions asked & actually trusted my calculations for doubling b/c their calculator wasn't working! HT's CS people could certainly learn a thing or two from Ingles'!!!!

I'm confused....what is the point of the control number???!

It supposedly will help them w/ their inventory control....something about having too much stock on hand, but IMHO, they never seem to have enough...re the lack of Sweet Sue & Bumble Bee BEFORE tripling has even begun!!!

I could see how maybe that would help them realize they need to keep MORE on hand....I hope the person talking to you is very confused! I saw that about the Sweet Sue...that's high on my list.

I bought the sweet sue today as it was gone last time! It was close to being out today!! The ketchup was long gone and had been also here in WS but I had used my qs on the smaller version b/c we needed it a few weeks ago. Anyway sorry u r having a time!

Was told the same thing today and actually had a control number put on my RC.

Did you have to wait long for the RC? I got the impression that it was just going to be more work for the CS, not us!

Wait longer? Geez, the last time I waited 10 minutes before anyone even offered to help me. My time is worth money too ~ ! I don't think they realize that or they don't care.

I think we've established that they don't care, but I plan on sticking it out in the long run. It's almost worth the look on her face when I walk up w/ my *list!*
