So I went to HT tonight to do a little research, shopping & claim my rainchecks (be sure to check out the new raincheck change thread) & I was very upset to see that my store is already almost out of all the things we can't wait to triple! I went up & down each & every aisle only to find they were already almost out of Heinz ketchup (those wonderful .75/1 coupons!!!), as well as Bumble Bee Tuna & Sweet Sue products! It appears that HT went out of their way to make sure we don't get any great deals this time around. And the *beep* at CS lied & said she had "no idea" if they were having triples this week! She claimed she was too busy w/ her own life to know what was going on w/ HT during her down time! I certainly hope y'all have better luck at your stores...............:BAN GHEAD2

Well, that's frustrating! Too busy w/her own life to have a clue about what's going on at her job? Oy. Hope they restock for you this week!

What store do you shop at(location)?

Does anyone else think HT is allowing employees to pre-shop ahead of us? The specific out-of-stocks seem a little odd in timing otherwise.

Certainly no couponer was there earlier in the day hiding the stuff.

Find out from their Store Managers/Grocery Managers/Co-Managers when they will reorder and when their deliveries comes in--usually at my stores it is Friday-Sunday or Thursdays. Ask the stock clerks, etc.

Supposedly they were getting a truck last night, but I don't hold out any hope for a restock on the Sweet Sue since they never got anymore last triples. I think they purposely didn't order it or will not put it out until after triples! Anyone ever get a RC stating you'll have triples when the item comes in????

on another board people were talking about hiding holiday items so they could come back after Christmas to get them when they were marked down. One girl said that every year she & her sister would go through the store & put everything back that people had hidden.

Well, my store always tells me the day the truck comes in, but when I go back on that day and they still don't have it, they make the excuse that that item didn't come in for some reason.

Ugh - I can't stand that! I see things hidden quite often. I'm getting used to looking around behind nearby items when I come to an empty shelf.

i went in this am when the store opened at 7 and things were a mess and shelves were empty. i have to drive 30 mins to get to HT and this was a wasted trip almost! i walked out not using a bunch of my Q's bc things were gone or prices were a lot higher than what people are posting.

Prices can vary a lot regionally. I'm in MD and many of our prices are higher than NC.

I agree it is wrong. Really scavengerlike!!! EEEWWWWW! Let's find all that hidden stuff and put it back!!!
