), & finally to HT. It would have been awful to drag the baby in & out the van that many times. I got soaked as it was... , but it was all worth it in the end! I even had the nice CS guy writing my RC! |

I'm so jealous over your Viva! That's the one coupon I didn't have & my HT hardly had any on the shelf anyway. I wasn't going to use a .40/1 q for a $2.45 roll of paper towels, KWIM?

I too ran out last night, in the pouring rain, to see what HT had re-stocked and get any of those missing items. I was shocked at the number of people in HT, nearly all of them with coupon binders. I was only able to get 4 boxes of spaghetti, one Wacky Mac, 2 Dawn Dish Detergents and 1 French's mustard. Total OOP was $2.04.

I lived in Florence, SC for quite a few years (originally from SC). I was shocked at the number of people at my HT last night too because of the rain. I saw a few people with their coupon binders there and one woman stopped and chatted with me a little while about coupons. :-) |

Yes, the rain was something and actually is even worse today (along with the wind) so I'm glad I don't have to get back out in it today. :-) I have an Ingle's really close to me but never go because they are so restrictive on their double coupons. I prefer Bi-Lo's instead. I'm a big fan of Dollar Tree as well (well some of their stuff is junk, but you can find some great treasures there at times). |

one last trip for me also in the rain last night (had to take ds to a friend's house so stopped along the way)...really didn't have many q's left to use and they were still out of the pepperoni so I got a rain check for that. Picked up 3 propel, 1 Idaho potato pouch, 1 cool whip...spent w/ tax .35 oop. Overall seemed better stocked this round, except for the pepperoni and mop & glo...they were out of those from Tuesday on.... |

OMG those are awesome deals on cheese! And brie and goat cheese are 2 of my all time favorites. Well, I can honestly say I've only ever met one cheese that I don't care for and that's only because I can't get past the smell!

I was also told when I went on Monday that when triples started this time, people were lined up outside waiting to go in. I don't know if any of the other ladies here in Florence were a part of that group. Not me. I keep my 2 grandchildren everyday (3 yrs. old and 18 months) and I detest taking them with me. I need time to think. I love AFC. It has helped me out tremendously. I am not as good as most people but, since my husband has been out of work for 18 months, any savings is a blessing. |

Sounds great to me. I have read your blog and posted a comment the other day. I would love to learn some tricks from you about Walgreens and CVS. I'm trying to get to both this week, if it ever stops raining, to get a few items that have RR's and ECB's. I have never done them and I know that you are the expert. Thanks. |

You would think that Florence would have at least 2 HT's due to it's size. We have two in Gastonia, NC so Florence should have two as well. The last time I was in Florence I noticed how much it had grown since I had last lived there. I have a lot of family that still lives there, but don't get to go as much as I used to. |

I used to shop the one in Belmont by Wachovia on Hwy 74/7? In fact, I will probably stop by there next Thursday for old times' sake when I come down to pick up hubby, so please LMK if they're having any wonderful deals & I'll be ready... !Funny you mentioned Ingles being so restrictive on coupons. The one up here is great...I just purchased 32 BC potato pouches a couple of weeks ago & they doubled 32 coupons for me w/ no problems! Went there today for BOGO Steamfresh & I bought 6. They let me use a q for each one, so the were only .25 ea!!! Needless to say, I was thrilled after triples!

The one you are thinking of is off of the Cox Road Exit. The mall that it is in is being remodeled and redone. There is now a Q'doba's there and they are hoping to eventually put a Super Target there if they can get the state to pay for a second road to come in since that particular exit is horribly busy. |

Oh, I hardly ever got out to Union Rd, but I know about where you're talking about now. Thanks for clearing that up for me! I'm glad to hear they're remodeling the old mall. It had lots of potential, but was just so outdated. That will be great to put a Super Target there, but they will definitely need a 2nd road. I've taken my life in my hand trying to get out of that place a few times... !

Yeah it is really outdated for sure, but it's starting to look nice the way they have laid it out. Mary Joe's (fabric store) is still there as is Harris Teeter and I'm not sure if they are going to remodel those particular stores on the outside or not, but they sure need updating as well. There's a strip mall in front of the old mall now as well with a McAllister's and other stores. |
