So I went in to HT for a few things last night & was talking to the "nice" CS/cashier guys. One had already seen the ad for next week (11/4-10) & confirmed that there would be NO SD or triples. I tried to get the E-VIC special out of him, but he couldn't remember...!

I reminded him that I've been waiting patiently for the next "event" & asked if he had any idea when it would take place. He said he didn't know for sure, but thought it would be "soon," so Foodie's info on triples for the 11th is probably right on the money! I also told him it would be a great service to everyone if HT had an event before Thanksgiving, so we could all stock up for holiday cooking & baking.

One funny thing he mentioned was HT never likes to announce the SD or triples to the cashiers in advance b/c most of them ask to be off...

mine too, and my warm delights coupons will expire and i wont get to use them if there is no triples next week. My kids eat the food faster than i can buy it. Last week i bought 8 boxes of granola bars and this week we only have one box left. I got mad last night and said OK WHO IS LIVING OFF THE GRANOLA BARS? my 16 y/o DD said "me" with a smile on her face

Hmmm, all these different time frames... some other sites are confirming Triples next week... guess we'll just have to wait & see what happens! Never hurts to be prepared, right?!

I expect that if HT follows through with either triples or superdoubles they will have a heck of a time keeping shelves stocked.... Many of us have "bulging binders" and have had time to organize for a super deal quest.

Now I just need one of those grabber things with an extending handle to reach "gems" on the back of the top shelves. Last triples event, I had to shamelessly borrow a long handled brush from the cleanning products isle to get to the BC Warm Delights. I got a strange look from another customer, but another couponer asked to borrow my brush. We both got our Warm Delights and ignored the eyerolls.

LOL. I can not reach the top shelves either. I usually look around for a taller person coming by and I ask if they would get me a box or two. Many times it is a customer and we have a good laugh. Once I had a taller woman notice I was eying up a product at the top. She came over without me asking. That was so nice of her. I have climbed the shelving a couple times but I am worried that it will all come down on me. They need to make available something for us who can't reach the top shelves.

That's awesome! That's one of the nice things about taking my dad with me...I'm 5'3", but he's 6'2", so I can make him do it for me. I'd love to have seen you with that brush...I will have to try that next time he''s not with me.

I LOVE this idea! I always run into that problem and I just try to find a tall box of crackers or something nearby to help. I should stop by the cleaning aisle first. Do you think a mop would be too much?

I'm a big fan of long-handled spoons and tongs for reaching back-of-the-top-shelf items. Sometimes a tall fellow will offer to help, but normally I just stand there laughing at myself until I get it right. LOL

I'm still waiting for confirmation on the NC mountains, too! I called CS yesterday, but got the standard, "We won't know anything until Tuesday night about the ad!" Me thinks that's BS!!!!

My husband is like that with pop tarts, granola bars and tuna. I told him he needs to chill or we will never be able to keep them on hand between shopping periods! He went through 3 boxes of pop tarts in less than a week last time! And the tuna...I have no hope of ever getting a stock pile of that . He will eat a pouch every day. My son is getting to the age where I think the bottomless pit will be opening up shop too!

Yes, the N VA areas will Triple this coming week. I have the ad which matches what has been posted for the Triples sale. I picked up the ad today from my "favorite" Co-manager who confirmed it for me today. I was finishing up shopping for a friend of mine (who had her first baby); and he gave it me when he saw me.
