I went tonight and had no problem with the whole grain vs whole wheat issue. However, they would not let me use more than one IP per product brand (any type of muellers in this case). She (white shirt-I guess a manager) said it was a policy reinforced at their regional meeting a few weeks ago. I used several ALL IPs last week without a problem at another local HT, though. It was frustrating b/c I felt like I was using the Qs correctly, but she said only one IP per product brand per day. That seems a little extreme to me! I guess I'll try the other HT that accepted the ALL Qs. I understand protecting themselves from fraud, but this was just legitimate use. It also seems to be inconsistent.

I went in last night for my 2nd trip for pasta. Just got two spaghetti whole grain pastas. Took 20 minutes to get rung up The u-scan person couldnt get the coupon to scan so he called a manager over. The coupons doubled and came off leaving a -$.21. I told them I wasnt going to buy something else to get my total at $0. I explained to a MANAGER that the coupon should have only doulbed to the price of the product. $.55 coupon should have only added $.45 therefore I wouldnt be in the negative. He added a random grocery charge of $.21 to get my total in the positive. I owed $.01 and I had NOTHING. I told them I was not using my card for a penny. The manager came back over to give me one. Free pasta was so not worth 20 minutes of my time.

its just funny to me when we, (AFC'ers) are educating our stores, ya know! I have been 3 times for free pasta, so one bad trip isnt going to keep me away. I'll be back today! LOL!

RE: the Birds Eye Veggies... EVERY time I've been to HT in the past 10 days the veggies are all sold out. I asked for a rain check but they said that I could only get a rain check for (2) items in total. (meaning two bags of veggies)... I've never had to use a raincheck before, do I surrender it upon using it or can I keep using it over & over for a period of time? I would like to get more than two bags of veggies... so should I just keep going in & asking for a rain check each day?

Yes, you have to give the cashier the raincheck at the check out and you don't get it back anymore.

I guess best think to do is to ask for a raincheck every time you visit the store?

Does anybody else has an answer??

thats what I do, but I try to ask different managers, ! Mine was out for like a week straight it felt like. FINALLY they got some in and I stocked up between yesterday and today. My store will usually ask me how many I want, they havent imposed a limit..yet! But, in my opinion, my store allows me to use 3 like coupons, so I would tell them you have 3 coupons you were going to use, so they should at least give you 3!

I went in today to stock up on some more pasta and today was the first day I had a real problem. The other two times I went it would not ring up but a customer service rep/manager or whatever just came over rung them all up and put in all the coupons with her override. Today, however, I went to get a few more before the new week starts tomorrow and when another manger came over to do it she said I could only use three coupons per manufacturer....not just internet coupons...just three coupons of any sort period for each manufacturer. I was not aware of this. She rang up my pasta though and said that next time just use three coupons per manufacturer. I thought you were able to use up to twenty coupons a day regardless of them being the same or not as long as you had a product to match to each one? Oh well, I guess next time I will just have to spread it out more. I did end up with 10 boxes of pasta, 5 bags frozen vegs and 2 pouches of tuna for .50 cents oop though.

Their policy actually states:

3 like regular Manufacture Qpons or 2 like IP Manufacture Qpons and a total for 20 Q will be doubled/tripled per day/person/houshold

Be happy that you usually have great Managers who don't mind!!!!

They are not in the ad but there is no limit either.... though, since they are not in the ad some HT stores won't issue a Raincheck (like mine )

YES!!! Ask for a raincheck each & every day you're in the store when they're out of an item! My store used to give an unlimited amount of purchases on the RC, but they've recently cracked down to only 10 items per RC per sale, unless it's a BOGO item. Then you will only be allowed 6 deals (3 purchases). They will no longer allow you to "keep" a RC if you don't use the whole amount listed, so plan ahead & be prepared to buy the limit. This is a perfect example of "if you don't use it, you definitely lose it!!!"

Unfortunately, those are the new limits. Some stores seem to ignore them, so don't be afraid to try again, but I believe corporate is REALLY cracking down!

Thankfully, mine gave me no toruble tonight issuing RC from the "tags" if the items weren't listed in the ad!
