Does anyone know, or have a good idea when triples will be this time? I am guessing the week of 21st or 28th, but unsure if rotation will be different since doubles hasn't come yet...

...I would really appreciate some good thoughts on this...my Mom is coming the end of the month from out of town...thought it would be nice to go with her

I am new to NC area and just shopped in HT for the first time a few days ago.
Like you I was wondering how often they cycle doubles or triples and if anybody
has a handle on how many weeks apart they run... or if it is totally random.

See if your mom will bring her coupons, just in case

It has been once a month since January, but was every other week for what...3 cycles? And the last one was about 4 weeks ago...

We should make a guess-the-doubles contest.

My bet is on next Wedn, actually, because they sure do love that 4-week cycle. But that is based on absolutely no inside information from anyone, just what I've observed, so let's not start a rumor!

Tell me about it. I spent FOUR hrs last night and at least SIX hours today getting my binder and extra inserts back in order!!!! And I'm still not done. I haven't updated my binder since August so I'm waayyy behind.

I don't know with the new fiscal year starting for HT it seems that super doubles and triples back to back are a thing of the past. But when triples rolls around again I will be ready.

I asked the CS girl (who is friendly) last night & she said they no longer tell them until AT LEAST the day before the ad comes out. Sometimes they don't even know until the ad starts. If she really knew it was coming up this week, she probably would have told me since we chit chat all the time.

I'm hoping we'll have SD or triples again for the 21st or 28th, since I'm spending lots of time cruising around the Blue Ridge Parkway & NC backroads if search of fall foliage. When I have time, I'll try to figure out how to post some pics here for y'all to see!

Not on the topic, but about Harris Teeter - I read in their coupon policy that they will only double 99 cent coupons and under (up to $1.98). So they won't take $1 coupons and double them? That's what I do at my usual store and it's great.

This is correct UNLESS they are doing SUPER DOUBLES... then they will double up to $1.98qs

Same thing here... spent over 4 h last night to cut+organize my coupons and get my Qpon folder up to date! (DH was happy... he could play Nintendo WII w/o interruptions )

I am not quite done yet... guess it will take me another good 4 h tonight to catch up completely.

Oh well.... at the end it's more than well worth it

I am so far behind I don't know if I'll ever catch up! I did finally make some files where I can at least file the unclipped inserts until I get a chance to do something with them. I'm hoping for a rainy weekend soon so I have an excuse to stay in side and work on them.

Tooo funny!!! I spent Saturday afternoon & evening doing the SAME thing!! I haven't cleaned out expired since August, and I hadn't cut since 8/16. And I usually buy 5 papers every Sunday! Plus, I had to clean out my "uncuts" that I save "just in case" from April onwards!

I talked with one of the cashiers and he said that they are having super doubles this Wednesday. I dont think he was aware of the hush hush everyone at HT has about the ads to come. Hopefully this is true. I myself have fallen way behind on my couponing. I think everyone has due to supers and triples so often!

Thanks, I've really been enjoying it so much, but I'm bummed now b/c it's supposed to RAIN the rest of the week & possibly SNOW this weekend! The fog is actually the worst of all, since you can't see a thing. The mountain behind the house is totally shrouded now, so I can't see any of the gorgeous colors. Guess I'll spend the afternoon at HT instead...!

I just finished super doubles at Bloom's and would be excited to continue it at HT!!!! :-)

I hope they do SD this week because I have some really good yogurt and granola coupons that I have been saving just for that and they expire in a week or so. I also got lucky and a friend gave me a whole stack of coupons from the paper in CA and I got some great coupons that are 1.25 and 1.50 for dove lotions, shampoos and soaps so I have my fingers crossed because I really want to be able to SD those before they are no good . If they super double I am staying up tonight and going at 1 a.m.
