96 oz. Clorox is BOGO at $1.99 (99¢ each) this week. There is a 50¢/1 MQ in the "One Stop, One Store" booklet at Publix that makes it FREE.

The HT I went to had a limit of two on the BOGO. The third jug rang up at $1.99 so I took it off the order and only got two. Guess I will have to make another trip to get more.

Well, my HT's (all 3 of them) have been out of the Clorox since day one of the sale. That plus they won't let you use 2 q's on a BOGO so I'd have to buy them one at a time (if they even had them) I did get a raincheck today but she wrote it for only 2 ~ guess I'll stop in the a.m. and get another. They make it such a pain I almost wonder if its even worth the trouble.

So HT will take these even though they say "Publix Only"? I've been wondering about that but not found the answer in either forum. Thanks!

The coupons say "Redeemable at Publix" but that doesn't mean they can't be redeemed elsewhere.

Do they say Publix Only or do they say Redeemable at Publix? In my experience with HT as long as they don't say "only" your chances are about 50/50 that the cashier will put them through. If they start with a 5 and are manufacturer's q's they should scan with no problem. The problem comes in when the cashier decides they won't take it.

I used quite a few Kmart coupons (they were manufacturers' coupons, but had the big red K of them) & nobody at my HT even batted an eye, which surprised me greatly considering how picky they've become over coupons! The barcodes began w/ a 5 & they tripled just fine!

Don't let 'em get you down! Those rainchecks ARE worth it!!! I have a Ziploc baggy full of them that's about 3" thick & save them up til the item is on some kind of sale & of course I also have coupons! That's why I persevere even while getting the "evil eye" from the CS! My mama didn't raise a fool ~

If you have a raincheck I don't understand why you have to wait for it to be on some kind of sale before you use it? This will be my first raincheck experience. My biggest issue with having to get the rainchecks is having to deal with HT's CS people, they always have such attitude problems that I just hate having to deal with them.

Sorry, I should have explained myself better. I wait for a sale when possible to use my rainchecks b/c my store will actually honor the sale price, not the original price on the RC. If it happens to be a BOGO raincheck & the item is also on sale, you can easily get by w/ overage, but you'll have to make sure you don't go into a negative balance. This is a good time to try those LA Gulf shrimp you always see in the seafood dept! They're not quite as fresh as the ones I get right off "da boat" in da bayou, but they're flash frozen & about as tasty as you'll get around here!

Mine say "Redeemable at Publix ONLY". They are manufacturer's Q's, so they'll likely scan, but I don't want to use them if HT won't get reimbursed. If I try it, I'll ask the manager first.
