, well what you listed above I would consider "planning". I don't just go out and buy everything I have good coupons for, and I shop for a relative and for donations so I need to prioritize. I also need a back-up list for when things are out of stock in addition to prioritizing for what is likely to be sold out first. If I had my q's organized better the planning might go a lot faster but this time I was facing three weeks of partially uncut and unsorted coupons. I use the Shopping List so I minimize my Express Lane work. Prices can be higher at my store, but never off by that much. Anyway, I find that it's easier to spend the time at home planning and prioritizing, so it goes a lot quicker in the store. It's bad enough I'm in the grocery store 3-4 times that week; I like to be in and out quickly.

That's enough planning to be exhausting to me. I don't know where some of the people here find time to do this amount of planning AND get to HT multiple times in a week. Try as I might, I only managed two trips during triples, neither of them on the first day. Hats off to all the moms who manage multiple trips with their kids - I don't know how you do it!

Anyway, I was momentarily excited about the idea of super doubles - that would have been pretty good luck for me to get triples and super doubles in my first couple weeks of couponing - but now that I'm thinking about it, I'd be lucky to make one trip next week and have NO IDEA when I'd plan said trip, so it's probably better for me to do it some other time, as well. Still hoping there are other good deals this week, though - since I've gotten my first taste of this, I'm quickly becoming addicted.

Me too! I need a week off between triples/doubles. Gotta catch my breath, resort my Qs, and put away all the stuff!

Sadly, this probably means they'll be doing doubles while we're away on vacation.

This seems more likely to me. Didn't they have triples last month, then a week break, then super doubles? Super doubles starting the week of 9/30 would follow the recent pattern. This would be nice to use some of those coupons expiring 9/30.

yep...that's how they didn't. My poor family will be relieved to know that can spend one week home with them.
