What are your thoughts? Do you like it? Do you think it's fair? Could it use some adjustments?

I love that there are items there when I shop, for the most part, and I think it's fairer to those who can't get there till after work. BUT. 20 per day just doesn't do it for me. I would like to be somewhere between 25-40, but it doesn't need more than that. Who wants to go shopping every day of the week, after all?

I'm on the fence with this question. I see why there is a 20 coupon per day limit, because can you imagine how empty the shelves would be if there were no limit. The majority of us would never get the great deals. Then the other side wishes the limit would go up by 5 or 10 that way that is less trips a week I have to make during triples or doubles. But that is HT gimmick, to make you come everyday in hopes you purchase more or something that you did not plan on picking up. So sometimes I'm glad there is a limit because it gives opportunity for others to cash in on a great deal too.

I think it is great! It keeps people who like to get ALL of the good deals from overdoing it. I dont mind stopping by once everyday on my way to work to grab some stuff. Food is the only thing i will do this for since we dont get to stockpile much of it.

Tough time answering that one! I picked the first choice. While I would love to minimize my trips, I think I am more happy that I have a better shot at getting some of the good stuff. Even more, I like that people who are either new to coupons or cannot shop several times a week have a better chance of also getting the deals. I have a local friend in this situation and she's having a hard time understanding how to make coupons work for her in her limited time when all of the good stuff is sold out. I know that you can get rainchecks, but it's not very encouraging.

Yeah, I'm totally Ok with it. I leave for work before HT opens, so the absolute earliest I can get there is after work - so if having a limit means that there's stuff left on the shelves for me, I think it's fine.

Plus, as someone who has no space for a stockpile, I'd have a hard time using more than 20 coupons per day and finding space to keep it all. So it works for me.

If my store EVER re-stocked, I'd be ok with it.
I really envy some of you who are able to go every day and end up using all of your 140 Q's. Last time I did 47 --- and that was going every day, sometimes twice, to pick up 2 or 3 things. If they're let us do 50 in one trip that would be wonderful. (I know its not going to happen)

I have already made one trip and have pulled all the coupons for stuff I want to try to get tomorrow afternoon and I had 43. I am not saying I would use all of those at once if I could. But I have to drive a good distance to get to HT and I can't go every day like other people. I don't mind the limits of like coupons, but the limit on the total number does hurt.

I wish if they were going to offer things like "Buy 15 items Get $5 off" that they would increase the number of allowable coupons by 5 or 10. This really ties up 9-12 coupons or you have to forgo the savings. But otherwise, I'm totally happy with it. I've been every day and used 20 everyday and 19 today because I made a mistake with one. Didn't remember it was $/2. Oops. Too late to go back and get another one. Didn't want to keep DH waiting. But yeah, for the most part, 20 is a great number.

I'm ok with it. Since they started doing it they have been stocked on almost everything I need. I think they have been enforcing the 3/like coupon too, as we used to have someone come in and clear the shelves - like all the mustards gone at 7:20 a.m. The most I have gone is 5 trips but I may make 6 or 7 this time as I have so many good coupons. Also before the cashiers seemed much more stressed about the coupons, probably from having to read tons from just one shopper. But I am lucky - the HT is less than a mile from my house. If I lived farther away, it would be a real drag!

As for the stock issue I'm don't know why HT has such a problem when there's such a low limit. I remember back when Bi-Lo did triples they had a 10 like coupon limit with no total coupon limit. You could make a trip during just about anytime during triples and be able to walk out with most of what you went for.

It's a good thing to have a limit it's nice to have some things still left on the shelf but it doesn't take long to reach 20 it would be nice if they went to 25

I like the 20 coupon limit, ive not really done HT triples before this since my HT by me gives me so much grief just doubling coupons..I started going to a different HT a bit farther, but the limit makes it less like a Wal Mart holiday isle and more like a grocery store.

I did the Bloom triples several months ago and it was a madhouse! Please blocking you from getting to stuff with thier carts...just crazy. This seemed much nicer to me.

I think the limit needs to be increased to at least 25-30.

There is sooooo much stuff i need to get since I'm usually buying for 3 households (mine plus my mom and sister) that it doesn't even seem like I have put a dent in anything when I can only use 20.

I say increase the number of coupons and increase the stock on hand!

I LOVE IT!!! Now I can actually get the things I go for most of the time. HT is usually wonderful about restocking. We just have to get there after they have stocked and before other couponers get there. yes, 25 would be great, but I am happy with 20.

I like the limit like everyone else has said because it helps make stock available for everyone, BUT I would greatly appreciate an increase of at least 10 more q's. I drive 30 minutes to get to my Harris Teeter so we just usually stop in once we finish up on the paper route and a lot of times it is so early that they haven't restocked the shelves yet. So an increase would make it more worth it for me to make a special trip to my closest HT is needed. Plus, we could all completely follow the rules and not borrow cards, do multiple transactions, etc.

my thoughts exactly! I have been everday and plan on going Mon & Tue Would be nice to not make 7 trips in 7 days!

I'm also on the fence. Usually I have no problem but the free food this time meant that I purchased a bunch of coupons on ebay and got more in trades. I still have 90 coupons to use by Tuesday and have no idea how I'm going to do that! That said I did not do any transactions on Wed, and one only on Thurs and Fri waiting for coupons to arrive, then did two on Sat and two today so a total of 120 coupons used so far. I have never used that many coupons, never even used half that amount.

I am not sure where I stand on the issue. On one hand I like that there are some items I am able to find when I come into the store in the early evenings( I can't get to the stores in the morning) , but then I hate that I have to come back for 3 days or so to get everything I need. So far I have done 3 days of H.T. shopping triples for triples and have only a few things more that I need ( 6 or so coupons) I hope to get it done tomorrow evening and be over with it.

Umm....quick question!

Do we have to use a VIC card to use coupons that will triple??? What if we don't have a Vic card?

You have to have VIC card for your coupons to triple. If you don't have one you'll have to sign up for one in the store.

I think it's a pain. I also think the 3 like q limits and the 2 like IP q limits already take care of the issue of someone wiping them out of an item in one shopping trip. I think 40 would be more reasonable.

I shop at Kroger a lot too, they have unlimited doubles everyday- I never run into issues with things being wiped out on their shelves.
