I just wanted to say that even though I posted a couple problems I had with coupons-I love Harris Teeter!!!

I am just trying to understand the policies so I can be better prepared and not have problems at the checkouts.

Really, a $ or $$ missed from a coupon here and there is no big deal when you are saving $50-$75!

I agree and I am also guilty of letting little stuff irk me. My store changed the limit of like items to three. It was four last triples/doubles. I was a bit miffed but decided who cares I'll get it next trip anyway. I think we all have our moments but HT still rocks! I like saving money!!

I think HT rocks with their triples & doubles. AFC super rocks for scoping out the best deals. I was $1 off on my last trip, but I just had to console myself with all the freebies I did get!

I adore Harris Teeter and wonder where they've been my whole life. I just introduced my mom to them this morning. She thinks I'm a genius. Hahaha no. I told her the girls from AFC are genius!

I love Harris Teeter because the employees are all so friendly and in my few trips, they've already learned my name, my 10 mo.'s name, my nephew's name and they don't just say hi. They come over to my cart and interact with us and share about themselves. You truly feel like you are developing a relationship. I've been shopping at another grocery store for three years, there's never the same employees and they're all so grumpy. I know ONE cashier at that store.

I also love how CLEAN HT keeps their store, how many employees they have keeping the place stocked and straight. I know we complain about stock but honestly, we don't know why they have problems with certain items and not others. Could be out of their control. But even the stockers are kind and friendly.

The two times I have had legitimate problems, I had no hassles getting things fixed. I love going to HT it's a breath of fresh air.

About every other triples or superdoubles, I email Corp to thank them for holding these specials b/c it helps my family's budget and it also gives me the chance to donate food to a local charity. I also let them know how great the staff at my store has been. I've heard they're pretty good about passing the word on to the store you're writing about so I think it's nice that the employees would get some credit. Especially with all they put up with over that week. It does take longer to check out and they have to get overrides, deal w/rude customers who are not as polite/educated about coupons as we are, constantly cleaning up and re-stocking shelves, etc.

I think it's so important to be thankful for these amazing savings. They DO put up with a lot and it's nice for them to hear something other than complaints. I bet they dread it as a necessary evil. But maybe we can change that! Maybe if we all thank them every event or as much as we can, THEY, too, will look FORWARD to doubles and triples because of all the compliments that come out of the woodwork! Let's make that happen ladies!

Wow, we definatley don't shop the same HT. Most of the employees at my HT are grumpy - none of them are overly friendly. I've been shopping the same store for 10 years and have never had anyone be overly friendly to me or even acknowledge that they've seen me before. I'm a very friendly person but its like pulling teeth to even get a smile out of those employees.
