| I have not done it yet. I figured if the B2G3 Totino's were working toward the GM promo, then so should the niblets. The GG niblets canned were the only canned GG listed in the GM promo list (fine prit). I plan to try after work. |

Does anyone know if you can get the $5 off more than once? Meaning multiple purchases of 15?

Here's what I did this morning: 6 GG Boxed Veggies 1 Pillsbury Grands 2 Fiber One Muffin Mixes 3 Fiber One Toaster Pastries 3 Betty Crocker Frosting I used these coupons: (3) .50/2 GG Veggies (insert) (1) .35/1 Grands (insert) (2) .50/1 Fiber One Muffin Mix (insert) (3) .75/1 Fiber One Toaster Pastry (mailer) (3) .50/1 BC Frosting (insert) Total was $2.44 before the instant $5, so after the discount it was -$2.56. Also got the $3 cat on the veggies. *I ended up spending $0.84, because my store will not give money back, so I threw in a few things to absorb the overage. | For similar promotions in the past you can do it again in separate transactions. You probably won't get it twice in one transaction by buying 30 of those items, but you wouldn't want to do it anyway b/c you'd probably exceed your 20 tripled coupons and lose out on potential savings.

| 19 cents! AND $6 OYNO ($3 meat, $3 total order)
here is what i did. for some reason, we thought the $5 didn't come off, but the manager and the cashier agreed that it made NO sense, that i DID follow the rules and manually entered it. i JUST picked up my receipt and saw that it DID come off, it was hidden in the middle! OMG! i swear i didn't try to cheat them! i asked the cashier to be sure if came off, but she and the manager both looked and couldn't find it! wow. i am lucky, i guess! so i got: 6 El Paso- 2 taco shells 2 for $3 4 seasonings 79 cents used: 2) 60 cents off any 2 El P. (IP) 1) buy two El P. get one seasoning FREE (peelie) 6 Green Giant frozen veg 99 cents used: 2) 50 cents off 2 (IP) 2) 50 cents off 1 (sunday paper) 4 BC fruit snacks 2 for $4 used: 2) 50 cents off 2 (IP) 1 BC frosting $1.50 used: 1) 50 cents off 1 (IP) also got: 1 mahatma rice $2 used: 55 cents off 1 2 mahatma rice mixes, 2 for $1.50 used: 50 cents off 2 1 glass plus BOGO, less than $1.50 used: 1) 50 cents off 1 1 tabasco $1.79 used: 75 cents off 1 (i think? or 60 cents off 1?) 1 lawry's seasoning $1.55 used: 1) 50 cents off 1 1 spray and wash $1.74 used: 75 cents off 1 3 mentos gum 1.49 used: 3) 55 cents off 1 2 bumble bee tuna pouch 1.00 used: 2) 50 cents off 1 eggs 97 cents (needed them for this morning!) minus $5 for 16 GM products total: $4.33 got all confused, ended up with an extra $5 off, so tossed a trident in there to make up the difference to $5... 19 cents GOT BACK: $3 OYNO meat, $3 OYNO niiiiiiiice. |

Talk about odd.... My transaction yesterday contained the OP's scenario. $5 did NOT come off. The mgr told me it was b/c the 5 cans of corn only equalled 2 (buy2get3 free sale). I don't 100% agree with what she said, but did not argue. I added (3) more qualifying items to my transaction and the $5 still did NOT come off. They took it off manually. I personally feel the register system was NOT recognizing some of my 18 qualifying products as part of the GM promo. I truly think it might be the GreenGiant frozen veggies (or maybe just some of the flavors) as my $3 OYNO catalina did not print either (but other catalinas printed -- so the machine had tape and was working). That all said, I did another transaction this morning. I only bought 4 items from the GM promo list along with a bunch of other items (including grapes and I had no coupon for produce). My total = NEGATIVE 0.01. When I examined the receipt, guess what? My $5 for 15 GM promo had been taken off. I did NOT buy 15 items let alone 15 GM items. I asked the customer service person (who I am friendly with) how this happened -- she wondered if it's pooling transactions together. As in, my transaction yesterday did NOT qualify (although it should've) for the $5 GM promo, but the system let me add today's GM purchases to yesterday's and then I qualified. NOW... PLEASE NOTE: HT's ad specifically states "ALL ITEMS MUST BE BOUGHT IN A SINGLE TRANSACTION" But her explanation is the only one that makes sense ![]() Don't you find that odd? Wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

I actually had the same thing happen last night and so did my friends who where with me. We all bought all 15 specified items.. but the $5 did not come off. They had to manually adjust it to come off. Then this morning, my friend calls me to tell me that she went to HT this morning to get some cleaning supplies, pop tarts and granola bars, and she did NOT get anything for the "deal" but then $5 came off of her receipt today. Talk about odd!!?? I will be going shortly and will see if the $5 comes off of mine today as well.

I saw someone on here said that HT's system was having wide spread problems with recognizing the $5.00 off deal. The manager was told to add the $5.00 to her VIC card at the end of the night - they were working on correcting the problem. Maybe the system went in and automatically put $5.00 on the cards of people who didn't get it but should have yesterday?

Well I had a problem with the Tostinos on Wed (or so I thought) and they told me it was b/c they were B2G3 - that the 3 "free" would not count towards the deal. Well today, I got the GG Canned Veggies - not even thinking, which were also B2G3, and the register automatically took the $5.00 off. I have put a lot of thought into why it didn't go through the 1st time, and I think I have it figured out. I bought 3 cans of Betty Crocker Frosting that day. Without thinking, I bought the one that is Chocolate Funfetti, which is not apart of that deal I don't believe. I am wondering if the problem lies in the GM deal being so specific in what is included and what is not!? Who really knows though!? LOL

I went this morning and did not get the $5/15. Turns out if you read the ad closely the "no sauce" veggies are included and the microwave ones with sauce (can't remember the exact name but the ones you can microwave in the bag), but the microwave ones with "no sauce" are not included. To test it the CS manager ran it back through with only boxes that were EXACTLY as the ad stated and it worked. So all of the GG boxes on sale do not work with the 5/15, just the ones specifically stated in little print at the bottom of the ad. The good news - she said "Oh, it printed some coupons" and handed them to me. I didn't look until I got home. When she reran it I got two more OYNO cats. So my kids are getting more broccoli and no greenbeans with almonds, but I got the $5 off and double cats.

I didn't realize the GG was good towards the 5$/15 promo? Well, anyway-Ive been posting my shopping trips on here...and have gone three days in a row and have done the promo every day! I didn't have any issue w/ it until today-it didn't come off-but they put it in manually for me. Not sure why it didn't go thru? - i got: 2 pill breadsticks 4 BC cookie mixes 4 Yoplait go-gurt 2 pill grands 2 pill crescents 1 wanchai frozen dinner I also did the GG promo by doing the B2G3 cans non coupon items i got were HT bread and Crisco oil My total came to $21.00 after they took the 5$ off. Not sure what it was before oop...i havent figured it up yet... How ever, I did have a hard time when the GG coupon didnt print out. Good thing I had my other receipts and coupons w/ me that I had already acquired from my other trips. The manager said to me "why do you think you should be getting 3$ back for buying GG" I said "cause it says I should" he said "where does it say that?" so i whipped out my other coupon and showed it to him and said "right here" He took awhile but finally decided to give me my 3$ in cash. He had the biggest attitude w/ me over it. But at least I got it! I have to say sometimes i feel bad for them when these events go on... we give them such a hard time sometimes--but what can I say I want my savings! |

| B2G3 only count as two items toward the 15 items?
Someone from my store told me that the free items no longer count against the 15 to receive the $5 off...is this true, I thought about calling corporate. So the veggies and the pizza snacks would only count as 2 items instead of 5. Also, the cashier who checked me out told me I needed to buy 4 things of biscuits to use a .40 off 2 coupon. She said this was because I was only paying the value of 1 item in a BOGO deal, even if the item rings at half price....I have never had someone tell me this before. She wouldn't let me use a .55 off 2 on the Martha White mixes either-she said I would need 4 total to use one coupon, but I had no problem checking these out the other day. Is this right or is she confused? I know I am confused now |

| $5 off 15 GM items-can you do 30 items and receive $10 off?
Just wondering if anyone knows if you can do the $5 off 15 GM items twice in a single transaction? Is there a limit on how many in a transaction. I asked the customer service desk and the lady wasn't sure and that it hadn't really come up. She said I could try it...
