What do you do when they do not generate? Do you just take the hit?

I went in for triples and did the $5/15 and in that bought the green giant veggies. I bought 4, so I should have gotten $2. It did not generate...Every penny counts..is there anything that I can do?

Ive never had that happen but I think that there is a number you can call and give them the number off your reciept and they can figure out what the issue is.. Or you could ask the manager at the store when you go back in.

I wouldnt take the hit, Im sure its easy enough to fix and 2 dollars is 2 dollars.

I hate when things dont work as they should.

My HT never prints the catalinas. They're so good about everything else - mostly I just ignore sales that are supposed to give catalinas.

I haven't had success with HT CS (in the store). So I called Catalina: (888) 322-3814. They researched the transaction and then mailed me the coupon.

Did you get the frozen boxed veggies?

I would call the number and see if they can help you. I too have not had much luck with the store customer service.

I purchased 6 GG frozen boxed veggies, 6 OEP seasoning mixes, and 3 Chex Mix for a total of 15 products. My $5 didn't automatically come off and I didn't receive my $3 cat for the GG or $3 for the OEP. I went to cs and they refunded me $8.12 because the $5/15 and $3 were advertised in the ad, but told me to call the Cat company about the OEP. CS said they were having problems with the cat machine all morning. They said every time they run the $5/15 during triples they run into problems. One of the girls said she thought it was the way the manu entered the promo into their computers that didn't recognize the deal if you use coupons with it. IDK if that's the problem since others here have received their cats and $5 off w/o any problems. Thanks for posting the number dofnm, it saves me from looking it up!

Oh, thanks for that number. My GG CAT didn't print either, and I wasn't sure what to do about it. I bought 5, so that's a pretty big $ to just let slide.

My $5 didn't come off and I was so concerned with that I forgot about the $3 Cat. When I was talking to CS she asked about the cat and I couldn't remember if I got it so I asked the cashier and she opened up the cat machine and it was jammed. So I got $8.16 from CS both the deals.

I just got off the phone with the Catalina co. They said they won't be able to pull up my transaction until tomorrow. But that they will call me then. Be prepared to be on the phone awhile. I was put on hold 10 minutes before I spoke with anyone. Also have your receipt in hand because they need the number that is printed next to the date and time for reference.

The GG cat deal is actually printed in their ad. But the OEP is not.

Mine didn't either. I'll call and get the coupon but glad it is in the ad! I was going to write it off since I found four $3 off chicken or beef winetags so I felt that made up for the problem!

They should either give you cash or they might make you call the Cat co. They can't force a q to print. I was refunded cash for the $5/15 and $3 GG since it was in the ad, but had to call Catalina about the OEP $3.

I always check the signs on the shelf to make sure I am buying the right thing. Last time frosting wasn't included this time it is......

I haven't had a problem without it showing up. The Cat. machine was broken today and they just refunded me cash for the Green Giant Veggies...

Thanks ladies. I just left mine and same thing happened to me...no $3 for GG. The customer said since they didnt have anything on it, they could issue me anything. Which I understand. They cant just take everyones word that they are supposed to recieve something. Will call Catalina tomorrow!

Oh and for the GG, is it buy 5 get $3 or buy 6 get $3? I just want to have my stuff straight when I call. Thanks!

That happened to me so, their cat printer was out or broke so I just went to the CS and they gave me cash.

...I know! I was really surprised no one there even knew what I was talking about. Its funny that we have all been planning for days our trips and know the ad so well, yet they don't have a clue!

I know! Except...the poor manager person I dealt with yesterday commented that they will NOT let them see the ad until they walk in the door. Of course, some places do get it ahead of time, so must vary by region. I felt horrible for her! They should let them see it 1-2 days ahead of time so they can be more prepared.

Because this offer is actually IN the HT ad -- I would go to customer service if your catalina does NOT print. That's what I've been doing.

To be honest -- The computer system (on catalina's end, not HT's) has been programmed to recognize certain products for the promo. Usually the reason WHY a catalina does not print is NOT b/c the customer did NOT buy the correct items (or amt of items) but b/c someone on catalina's end forgot to add a specific flavor or 2 to the list of items to be recognized.

This time - I wonder if it is the sugar snap peas. I bought 5 sugar snap peas + 1 new immunity mix. Nothing printed. That tells me it did not recognize the 5 sugar snap peas b/c if it had recognized them and not the immunity, well, at least a $2 would've printed. KWIM? (And today I bought 4 of the same immunity -- and got a $2)

My GG CAT did not print this morning so I went to the CS desk.
They had a letter (maybe from corporate?) about this is a known issue and were
instructed to take my VIC info and will apply it to the card at the end of the day.
Don't know if this is a problem just in this particular store, or more widespread.
I was able to get one yesterday (at a different store, though).

Last time this happened to me (with the Kraft cheese deal) I went to CS and they gave me cash! Cash is good!

My cat didn't print for the pillsbury deal...I am on the phone with them now trying to figure this out!
