| Our bandaids were 1.99. Last triples they were 1.49. I think 1.49 was a long sale. 1.99 is now our 'regular' price.

Had a fun time today. Got lots of what you other guys got. Just had my soup for lunch! Getting reeces for Halloween. Found out that at one store I went to they do not triple manufactor qs that say redeemable at Publix. Was going to get some Q-tips but to no avail. Took the $.75 off but that was it. I made sure I did not have any that said DND or DNT just to be on the safe side. This store also said that they were really watching the qs now, which totally stinks! Guess we are saving too much money! |

Here's my trip, which unfortunately includes some regular high-priced groceries, therefore killing my average! 3 Warm Delights ($0.50 for all 3) 2 Betty Crocker frosting (free) 3 Dial Basics soap 3-pk ($0.14 ea) 1 Lysol Toilet Lime & Rust remover (free) 3 Renuzit 2-pks ($0.34 ea and by special request from my sister) 2 Reese's 8-pks ($0.14 ea -already opened and eating right now) 1 Blue Diamond Almonds ($1.40) 1 Red Baron Singles ($1.08) 6 Green Giant boxed veggies ($0.24 ea) 4 Pillsbury crescents ($5 for all - wish I liked Grands, but we don't) Other groceries - Organic 1/2 gallon whole milk, 2 pkgs Perdue boneless chicken (2.99/lb), 1 Ben & Jerry's, bread, English muffins. Paid $24.26, Saved $57.74. Got $3 OYNO cat for GG and my $5 came off automatically. If I had not bought other items I would have paid just under $5 after the $5 came off. Too bad we can't live on frozen veggies and Renuzits!

I went to my high priced HT and a lot of the things that are free elsewhere aren't at mine. I did manage to get some deals and I will stop at the one near my DH's office that is more in line with everyone else on Friday. 2 Tabasco sauces: $1.89 each-$.75tripled= FREE (going to the food pantry at church) 3 Betty Crocker warm delights: $1.89 each-$.50tripled= $.39 each 2 Mahatma rice $1.49-$.75tripled: FREE (food pantry) Glass Plus: $2.79-$.50tripled: $1.29 (Holy Cow it was twice what everyone's else was- oh well I needed it) 2 Wacky Mac Veggie Pasta: $1.59-$.75tripled= FREE 2 Gum tech toothbrushes: $1.74-$.75tripled= FREE 2 Birds Eye Steam Fresh Broccoli/Cauliflower: $2.00-$.50tripled= $.50 1Green Giant Steamer: $2.59-$.50tripled= $1.09 (none of the Green Giant was on sale, I bought this because it looked good and $1.00 is still a good price) 1 Nestle ready to bake chocolate chip cookies: $2.50-$.55Q= $1.95 (they had these Q's next to the cookies and they clearly stated do not double. I went ahead and got a pack to see if they would double and they didn't. I guess I will just have to console myself with some warm, freshly baked chocolate cookies. What couponers must suffer through!) The things I didn't get on my list because the prices were way out of line was Comet cleaner, Quaker Chewy Granola Bars, Dial Hand Soap, Buitoni Pasta, Pop Secret Popcorn, Betty Crocker Muffin Mix and Palmolive Free & Clear. Cross your fingers there is still some stuff left at the other HT on Friday!

I stayed up too late last night getting my coupons in order and didn't get to the store until 11. The cat machines weren't working and my $5 didn't come off for the $5/15. They only had 3 boxes of Totino's pizza rolls left, but I wasn't devasted, I don't really like them all that much and just wanted them for the kids and the 15 products. Everything else was stocked up surprisingly well for that time of day. Here's what I got: 6 GG boxed veggies .99 each. I only had one .50/2 q because I printed them up quick before I left the house this morning and accidently printed the .50/1 for the Steamers that aren't on sale. I bought the boxes anyway b/c of the $5/15. 3 Chex Mix...also goofed here. Not all the Chex is on sale 3/$5. I picked up the Trail Mix Chex for $2.79 along with 2 on sale for $1.67. Used one .50/1 IP and one .50/2 insert q 1 BC Potatoes $1.19. Used a .40/1 IP that they almost didn't triple! I had my favorite young guy as my cashier and one of the CS was bagging my groceries. He looked at the IP and said they weren't supposed to triple it if it said DND on it. The CS lady went and asked at the desk and they said to go ahead and see if it worked and it did...whew. I've never had them do this before so I'm thinking that this must be new from corp. My fav cashier told me that he knows they will triple, but CS doesn't... . He ran the rest of my q's through quick while she was gone so that I wouldn't have any other issues. Love him! 3 Chock Full O'Nuts reg coffee on sale for $2.59 Used .75/1 q's made them .34 each. 1 Smart Balance 50/50 Butter sticks bogo $1.84 I had a .55/1 blinkie from awhile back that made it .19 6 Pop Secret boxes $1 each used .50/2 q's made them .25 a box 2 Crayola GUM twin pack kids toothbrushes (last two) $2.39 each Used two .75/1 q's made them .14 each 2 Viva single rolls $2.35 each. I only had two .60/1 q's, but needed paper towels and I love Viva. They were .55 each which is cheaper than the cheapest brand there. Wish I could have found the .85/1 q's. I traded for some during the last triples and they were never in stock so I'm just happy I got some. One Famous Amos vanilla cream cookies $1.99. Used .55/1 q =.34 One Welch's refrigerated juice carton $2.95 - .75/1 = .70 One Sweet Sue Chicken can $2.99 - .75/1 = .74 One garlic clove for dinner tonight .50 Total before savings: $79.49 Coupons Tendered: 62.18 OOP: 17.31 CS refunded $8.12 for my $5/15 that didn't print and the GG $3, but told me to call the Catalina co about the OEP $3 because they didn't know what that deal was about. $17.31- 8.12 refund= $9.19 and I should get a $3 cat after I call

You guys have done AWESOME! I honestly don't think I can cram another thing of rice in my pantry. I could feed half of NC as it is with all the rice I have. IF you take off the 4 6-packs of diet pepsi that I bought (for which there are NEVER coupons): OOP $12.** - savings $50.**. I get so hypered up about triples I can't wrap my head around the catalina deals and the other buy xxx and save xxx. I typically forget those and would have saved more if I had been paying attention. I can always use more frozen veggie though, so there is hope!

Here is my first day shopping list- I went on my lunch break and this is the first time i've hit a triple's on the first day. They were already out of Tonino's Pizza Rolls and State Farm Corn dogs .... I not only had a problem w/ the register not taking $5.00 off but it also didn't print out my $3 OYN for GG ... And because they didnt have Totino's in stock(which was part of my 5$ credit) I messed up and I got the OEP shells today instead of tomorrow (for my 2nd meat credit). But--I went to CS and they were very nice about crediting me(gave me cash). ![]() GM Cereal - $5.00/3 GG canned veggies - B2G3 - 2.68 BC Fruit Snacks - 2.50/2 OEP Seasoning - 4.74/6 OEP Taco Shells - 6.00/4 HT Mac and Cheese - 1.71/3 Silk Soy Milk - 2.96/4 Ragu - 4.30/3 Barilla Whole Wheat Pasta - FREE (5) Kotex Pantyliners 18 ct - FREE (3) Reeses snack pack - FREE (4) --------------------------- Total Before: $83.64 Total After : $29.78 (Including $5.00 off) Earned $3 OYNM and $3 OYNO |
