| Question about $$ off multiple item coupons
Ok...Sunkist 2L is on sale $6/5 so I purchased two ($1.20 each) because I had a coupon for $1/2 Sunkist 2-Liters. My coupon only doubled up to $1.20 instead of $2.00. CS said it's because the system does not allow overages but I technically would not have had overages since I did purchase two sodas. My total would have $2.40 before the coupon and .40 after the coupon. I've never had a problem with those money off multiple item coupons before at Harris Teeter (only Kmart). Anyone else had this problem? |

I know there had been problems up like that until a few months ago, but it had been fixed. I am guessing that their change to the super doubles caused it to start happening again. They were also suddenly giving overage again in the first day or so of super doubles. I agree that you should have gotten the full $2 off.

Yes, I have had the problem in the past but I was able to get it corrected at customer service. I thought they had fixed the issue, but as sar1 said, it seems that Super Doubles have caused some old problems to happen again! You can contact the corporate customer service and see if they can help. I did that in the past and they were able to retrieve and review my VIC card transactions and eventually, the problem with the system was fixed. They were very nice about looking into it for me.

I ran into the same problem w/ the kashi go lean bars $1/2 coupon. They were priced $1.65 each but the q only doubled to $1.65 instead of $2....something to do with how the coupon is coded. The scan code does not match the words on the coupon. So the coupon was really coded to be $1/1 instead of $1/2 as the writing suggested. It may be the same with the sunkist coupon you mentioned.
