I have a question on Oscar Meyer Hot Dogs. They are BOGO Free this week, and I have a coupon that is $1.00/2. Will they let me use that coupon? Or is that where YMMV?

I used two today with no problems. I used one on my order and hubby used one on his order. I think because it is 1 coupon it is okay.

UNfortunately other people have reported being turned down. I think it depends on how aware your cashier is. The coupon will scan just fine - it's up to the cashier to catch it. Good luck!

My store has gotten very strict regarding coupons on the BOGO items, but they have still allowed me to use a coupon that is $1/2 for a pair of items that are BOGO.

It depends on your store and your cashier though!

I just read on another forum that some people are being told that they must now purchase 4 items to use a $/2 coupon on a BOGO. One poster said the manager showed her a letter from corporate saying they are enforcing this now. She also said that BOGO's are now going to be rung up full price and then free. Anyone else heard this or seen this happen yet? I usually buy one item in a bogo at a time so I can use one coupon per item anyway, but was wondering what would happen if I used a $/2. I had no problem yesterday buying one BOGO Mini-Wheat.

I had a problem with the 1.50/2 Miniwheat IP yesterday. They won't allow me to use it on 2 boxes that were BOGO, so if you had my cashier, no you wouldn't be allowed to use the $1/2 on the hot dogs.

The ad still says 'item ring at half price' so at least for now they shouldn't be ringing up full price and then free. I hope it stays that way.

I went to the Mt. Pleasant store in South Carolina, and was told that you could NOT use a coupon that states $ off two on a B1G1 free promo. I have a coupon for a FREE oscar mayer hot dog.....will I get two free with that coupon. It seems to be it should work that way if the coupons work that way? What do you guys think? Thanks for your help!

Are you asking if they will double your free coupon? I think doubling only applies to an amount off up to $1.98 right now.

Nope, since they ring up as 1/2 price you will only get the one pack free and still have to pay 1/2 price for the other....unless you get very lucky and get the "right" cashier that doesn't subtract the discount from the original price. Teeter is really picky about their coupons and their bogo's...even though they truly aren't bogo's.

I used $1/2 ON 2 PACKS OF OSCAR MAYER HOTDOGS.......NO PROBLEMS. I ALSO USED MY $5/$25 from RITE AID AND THEY MATCHED WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. OF COURSE, I HAD THEIR STORE POLICY IN HAND.
