What exactly is super doubles...from the way the ad is it is .99 doubled..

Also saw they have buy 2 (12) packs pepsi and get 3 free...

Any idea how much they are??

Pepsi 12 pks are $5.99 each, so $11.98 for 5...makes it $2.40 a piece.

I don't have the ad, but my HT email this morning specifically states "SUPER DOUBLES - Manufacturers' coupons up to $1.98 face value". For example, coupons that are $1.50 will now be worth $3.

Super doubles seems to be something new that HT is trying out...they will double up to $1.98.... and there seems to be some pretty decent deals for some of the things that I want any way hope this helps!

So, my HT was out of Kashi granola bars at 6:46 am!! WHAT? Not a big deal but I was surprised.

Also be aware my store didn't have some sale tags up-- and one item rang up wrong and I need to go back...(Activia wasn't marked on sale, but was $2 each, Mini-wheats weren't marked BOGO, but was; and Blue Bunny wasn't marked BOGO and it rang up 5.99!)

remember Teeter's policy is if it rings up wrong you get your money back for the entire price it rang as..so you should get the entire 5.99 plus tax back and still keep the blue bunny. They honored it that way for me this morning as it rang up full price for me also.

Decent trip, even though I was only prepared enough to use 17 coupons this morning. I was on here all last night and just didn't get my act together, but I have the rest of the week. I kept discovering new things in the Shopping List and hunting down more coupons. My trip today:

Has anyone else had trouble w/the Dawn Pure Essentials coupon? My first went through fine, but the second would not scan no matter what. They had to manually enter the $3 off.

For what I got, I'm very happy with my total. Not as many frees as triples, but other than the Lysol wipes and dish detergent I'm not usually able to get deals on these things during triples. I think I'll be making 1 or 2 more trips, especially after the weekend coupons come out.

FYI - there were $1/1 Ritz coupons on a tearpad right near them.

I think I did pretty good. made 1 mistake on the Ricola coupon.. thought it was $1 one, it was $1/3..
Here is what I got..

2 Dawn detergent( the clear bottle)

2 vanity fair plates
2 dentek floss

2 palermos pizza

Before coupon my total was around $67( almost fainted)
after coupons and tax it was $20.05.. not free, but after the cake I paid $11 for all this stuff. I am happy. I messed up on the ricola so I can go back and get 2 more items.. I am going to take Ds to work and then stop by( it is on the way) and ick up the Vanity fair plates. after my coupons they are free. I can't wait for the next few days.
On a down note I thought the Tidy Cat litter was BOGO only the bagged kind is BOGO , so that is off my shopping list.

I love my Harris Teeter! They are SO good, nice, competent, and friendly, and they stock, and they always cooperate with me on all my coupons. (And of course I never abuse that cooperation.)

The Wacky mac and Bush's weren't "super double" type coupons, but wanted to take advantage of the trip. Plus, I never see more than one Wacky Mac at a time so had to grab it.

Also had 2 $2 catalina from the Kraft deal already, that they let me use in addition.

So total OOP: 7.33, plus earned a $2 OYNO and a $1.50/2 Haagen Dazs coupon.

We love all of these foods and eat a ton of them, so I am totally happy. Thanks everyone for all your posts and tips that helped me think of what to get!

I have to say that I am very disappointed with Super doubles. Our store is pretty small (and the only one around!) and it was not really worth it at all! They did not even sell some of the stuff I needed.

Also I ran into the "coupon police" and the cashier refused to let me use 3 coupons on 3 Kellogg's Mini Wheats. I need Cereal so bad gooooooooosh! If I buy one box at a time or 3... I'll gonna get it for free anyway... I do not know what HT's deal is and I am gonna write them an e-mail about that issue,... they really need to change that!(sorry for that rant!)

I will go back because I finally can use my $1 Capri Sun coupons and (of course) I NEED more Cereal. But this will be the only things I will get this week....

Can you just go in and out of the store to different cashiers a few times for the cereal. I know its a pain but at least you don't have to drive back everytime. I even tried to use a 1.50/2 and she said no which makes NO SENSE!
