I just read in a previous post on this thread that they are timing the cards per 24 hour period...that is just ridiculous...their policy is 20 q's per day not within a 24 hour period...grr...now I have to start replanning when I am shopping each day since I went last night which means I cannot go until again tonight...that stinks!

I bought the B2G3 free M&M chocolate and use a B1G1 Q. I was told that they will only take off 0.50 for the Q bec. the 5 chocolate come up to $1.98 and they have to divide by 5. The supervisor was called and she said that's the policy, I asked her how did it come to 0.50 then, $1.98 divided by 5 is 0.40 (if you round it up). She said that "Oh we will take 0.50 off"

weird! sounds like another example of people making up rules as they go along. My store didnt do it that way. I got 20 and paid for 4.

I ran into the "we only allow 20 coupons total" incorrect rule, but the cashier said she'd scan my 3 "extra" $2/1 chinet coupons just this once. I don't argue in the store b/c I know they think they're doing the right thing, they're always polite about it, and I have a good relationship w/my favorite cashiers and don't want to be that thorn in their side. I'll email corp about it and make sure to mention that I was treated well, but I just disagree with their interpretation.

I already sent the email tonight, but I'm sure I won't hear until Monday. I've been finding more deals than I was expecting this week, and revisted the DVC donation wishlist so I had a lot more to add to my shopping list. I went the first time to get the 12 pk drinks & a few other things. I had a $1 off coupon for the purchase of any Dr. Pepper. It doubled so I got 5 12 pks for $10...making them $2 per 12 pk. I purchased 2 more Cherry DP (which is where the $1 coupons were) & went back today & got 5 more 12 pks...used both $1 coupons...got 5 12 pks for $8..making them $1.60 per 12 pk. I was happy!

Yes, I too used q's on two separate days, but within 24 hours and didn't have any problem with doubling. I was prepared to make the "20 per day" vs. "20 per 24 hour period" arguement, but thankfully didn't have to. Maybe it varies depending on the store?? Heck, I can't figure out how they track things sometimes.

I finally got to make a 2nd trip today. My OOP is high, but I had to buy some things like motor oil and diapers and splurged on wine.

I finally went to HT last night. They were out of the tuna pouches. :-(
But, I found a shopping cart of clearance deoderants near HBA & the last register. Old Spice Deoderant was marked down to $1.21-$1.24! I had 3 of the coupons for $1 off. Gave 2 to my boyfriend to buy (had to get around that 20 coupon limit.) Since it was clearance, the lead cashier had to push it through, and it was a MM. When my BF went through, a different lead cashier only gave him credit for the price. So, got 3 Old Spice deoderants and made $.76. Hope you can find it, too!
