Is this a new thing? I used a blinkie for Toliet Paper (.75) and Bumble bee Tuna (.55) and neither doubled.

I just saw teh thread below about the DND coupons. I don't recall if the Toliet Paper was a DND or not.

afaik most blinkies have the standard DND or DNT wording on them. some TP blinkies like Cottonelle even start with a 9, those won't double/triple by all means.

the only reason I can think of is re-programming of these registers now to make sure blinkies do NOT automatically double especially if it states DND or DNT.

I have noticed that a lot of the blinkies I have gotten lately only start with 9, so they will not double.

Did they both start with a 5? I know that my HT only has blinkies that start with a 9. These will not double. However I have found the same blinkies at other stores with barcodes that start with a 5. Check your coupons to see what the barcode starts with.
