It is now in effect at all the concord nc stores My friend went this morning and she called me and said when she hit the second store it tripled the 1st couple and that was it.

I think you might be right as I was shopping in Gastonia and the mahatma rice scanned but did not double or triple. The price is $1.49 and the .50 coupon would have given me $1.50 (overage). No problem as the manager that came to do the ortega coupons took .99 each off manually. Odd thing is I bought the same rice yesterday with no problem. Hope they can fix the problem as I don't always pay close attention to each coupon deduction, I just watch the total go down.

I'm thinking the same thing. I did one last trip with a card that hadn't been used that day. Only 14 of my coupons tripled. From what I can tell the kraft BBQ and .50 mahatma rice ones didn't triple. The yakisoba one tripled but I bought three and used only two coupons. In my earlier trip my skintimate one tripled correctly.

I think it's still tripling the ones that will be free if the reg. price (even if they are on sale) is equal or greater to the tripled amount.

If they're going to not allow people to get freebies there's going to be a huge outcry. I'm just assuming this is somekind of unintended glitch from the changes. If it's intentional I'm going to seriously consider not giving them ANY business not matter what the deal.

Harris Teeter has probably seen the last of my business. I guess I can understand why they are doing it but I have to travel 50 minutes to get to any stores so I would go to 3 stores twice during a week long triple. It is not worth my time and trouble anymore. I went today and at second store nothing tripled. If you are Virginia this was at Greenbrier store.

I went to my local HT this evening to finish up my triples for the week. I'd used some this AM at a different store and had difficulty with all of the coupons tripling. I attributed it to the U-scan because I always seem to have some sort of coupon trouble there.
I also spoke with the CSM and she told me the same thing about connecting the VIC card to coupons for monitoring during the next tripling. She also gave a limit to the internet coupons, etc. that could be used but I can't recall all the information (the children were in full force by then).

I am in Fayetteville and I had a problem with our store yesterday too. I tried getting 3 Mentos gum along with some other stuff. Of the three "free" items the Mentos gum did not double/triple but the Glass plus and Spray and Wash did triple.

We called the manager and he said it's "THREE OF THE SAME COUPONS PER DAY". OK Mr. Hotshot I was only buying three mentos gum (same variety) and this was my first trip! So now what?

Went to CS to see if she knew what was going on and she didn't. She gave me a new card and said for me to try that one. I tried using the new card and the Mentos Gum still did not triple. The cashier tried using the store card and it still did not triple.

I had no problems with my other stuff.

That was really frustrating. I hope they get these glitches out in time for the next triples or else I might be sitting that one out.

I just got back from HT in Charlottesville VA & didn't have any issues with my coupons. I had 20 & all of them tripled. Some of my items were almost free. Most of them were just a fraction of the items cost. I had BOGOs, sale items, closeouts & IPs. No problem with any of them. I asked at CS if there had been any issues with coupons not tripling & I was told the only issue's they ever get is concerning their rule on the BOGOs (even though I used some today & had no issue).

I guess I will find out what happens the next time they do triples.

I know they were doing a test of the new system in the Winston Salem, NC area. Supposedly the new system goes chain wide tomorrow that will limit us to 20 multiplied coupons per day

Does the 20 coupons apply to a 24-hr period or is it 20 coupons per day.

It is my understanding that it's 20 multiplied coupons in a day and that it resest at midnight. Someone please correct me if they know something else.
