I don't think Bloom has ever done triples before...they don't even DOUBLE normally! MIL and I are going to sit down with my box and go SEVERAL times over the next couple of days. We also wonder what will happen if we go through self-checkout...esp if we only have 5 items a piece!

Also how do you prepare? Do you make lists, pull your coupons out of the binder? What my last triples I made envies for each section of the store and put in every coupon that I had less then $1. It seemed to work ok but I would like to see what you do.

I can't help you on what coupons to trade -- sorry.

As for how do I prepare: the last couple times I have done the following: I have sat down with my coupon box and 1-2 3x5 index cards. I go thru my coupons -- and slowly make a list on the index cards of those high value coupons AND any coupon for products I need. The list might look like this:

75/1 ColgateTB
75/1 ArmHamT-paste

75/1 SnydersPretz

55/2 Tetley
60/1 LiptonTea

35/1 PilsCrescent
50/1 DannonYog

I use alot of abbrev -- probably some that I can only read. I basically fill the front and back of 1-2 index cards. And as I do it, I try to group things as I know they are in HT. (Ex: all paper products together; all dental/H&B together; all fridge stuff together; all frozen together; etc....) Then when I hit an area, I can quickly scan the card to see if I have any coupons worth digging out.
