Last time a checked, Hannie's store brand canned tomato products (tomato sauce, 28 oz diced tomatoes, etc.) were even less than Market Basket's. That would be a good one to go for, too

I got 4 tomato soup yesterday-only worked one time out of 3. The 2nd place checked me out at customer service and they don't have a catalina machine. It ran out of paper the third time so I gave up.

I got $3.00 back yesterday. I bought mostly canned beans. At .59 a can they're actually a better deal than Market Basket. Their canned tomato products were a little lower in the past, but I think they're still compatible with Market Basket.

Just a note: looks like the CAT will print out in the full amount that you earned.

Does anyone know if you get separate CATs if you're getting more than $5.00 back? It's nice to have smaller CAT denominations to use.

And, like your typical CAT, it expires two weeks from printing.

They had a computer update and none of the Hannaford coupons or cats were scanning yesterday-hopefully, that will be fixed quickly.

Mine scanned fine yesterday (I had one 1.00 cat and a couple of Hannaford Q's) This was around 11:00ish AM.

I ran into the "no cat deal" that day. I brought my recipt in on Friday.. they gave me $1 cash.

Hannaford veggies are a great deal. Use the .50/1 hannaford product from the book they put out awhile ago get 3 of these- get one lesser salt Hannaford canned veggie (guiding stars) - use one .50/1 guiding stars Q from the same book.

They have some smaller cans of veggies for .47 cents. I got 3 little cans and a .59 can

used the .50 hannaford Q - .50 Guiding stars q and my $1 cat from the last purchase.
Got $1 back.

Even roll. I sometimes bring veggies with Lunch.. dh does not - so the little cans are great for me.

.25 soda can - I found singles on the salad bar.
I'm contemplating a couple of free 40 soda can transactions, but don't really want to stand out that much .-)

Where is everyone getting the Hannaford Q? My DH works at Hannaford and doesn't even know about it I would like to get some cheap veggies since DD goes through them so fast!

The coupon comes out of the cat machine. $1 for every 4 products you buy. SO buy 4 cheap products like yogurt or veggies, and keep rolling the $1 on another 4 products. If you do that with yogurt that's only $.39, then you'd do this:

(4) Yogurt, $1.56
get a $1 coupon

(4) yogurt, $1.56
- $1 coupon
Total, $.56, get another $1 coupon

SO THEN.... you can do something like

(4) beans, $2
- $1 coupon from previous transaction
Total $1, get another $1 coupon.

You can either keep rolling $1 at a time, or buy multiples..
(8) yogurts, $3.12
- $1 coupon,
pay $2.12, get a $2 coupon (because you bought 8 product)


I could do this all day.

I know about the Cat, but some people have mentioned a .50 Hannaford Coupon and a .50 Guiding stars coupon. I checked out Ebay as well and there are $1/1 any my essentials coupons. I was just not sure where these are coming from.
