| Where are the turkey deals?
I haven't seen/heard of any cheap turkeys this year. Anyone have a head's up as to which stores might have really good deals on turkeys? We have Harris Teeter, Food Lion, WalMart, and Lowes in our area.

i Know here in FL I was able to get a 25 pund turkey for .40 a pound! I paid bout 9 bucks! This bad boy is huge! I would have bought another but my freezer is full. There was a sign with a 2 limit. But didnt stop ppl from making a scene and trying to buy 6 or more!

Our Food City had turkey for .69 a pound but I also had a coupon for a dollar off. So I got a 12.5lb turkey for $7.51...which comes out to be about .60 a pound. I am hoping they go on sale cheaper because I need to get another one for our chuch thanksgiving dinner.

I just paid .47/lb yesterday. DH chose the largest turkey he could find in the bunch which is twenty-three pounds! The supermarket chain where we purchased the turkey is located in the Northeast.

I just heard that our WalMart had turkeys for .40/# and they sold out right away. Might want to check there & see. I think it was an unadvertized deal.

Thanks. I haven't seen any turkeys advertised here in NC yet at a real deal. Maybe this will be the week. Not but 2 weeks left to deal in turkey.
