Basha's Trip
Basha's is locally owned AZ grocery store. They have the frequent shopper card I usually save pretty well here and I have never had had any issues with coupons, till today.
Imagine my surprise when I went to the mail and found a $53 savings book in there from Basha's. I told the BF we need to go today before stuff is gone.
I read over the booklet and all it had was expiration dates on every Q.
Got to the store and started filling the cart, we even found packages of pork chops 16 chops for $10.60 and 9.60.
Got to the register and the lady tells me she can not take the store issued Q's as they are not good till tomorrow.
I insist they call a manager over, and she says they will take them but the saving will be different, instructs the cashier to look at the Q and do a store Q for the savings that is shown in the left corner of the Q For example the bread had a savings of .71c.
This took and extra 10 minutes but in the end it was worth it, I saved $95.73 my bill after savings came to $70.05!!! left with 20 bags of groceries...

I rarely shop at Basha's because they seem so over priced. I wonder if I'll get this booklet in the mail and if not how i'd go about getting one. It sounds like it's worth checking out!
