I need to know if enough savvy shoppers want a Brookshire's Grocery Store Forum.
I know a few of you inquired about a forum but no one replied. Well, guess what?!
If enough of us vote for this new Grocery Store Forum then we can get a Brookshire's Forum! - YEAH!!
Please reply that you would be interested so we can let the AFC masters create it!

By the way, I live in East Texas and the Brookshire's is based here. I know the locations are throughout North and East Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. Any other places?

I would love to see a Brookshire's/Super 1 Foods forum here.

My local Wal-Mart has given me so much trouble about using printable coupons that I've started taking them to Brookshire's instead, and I get no problems. Now, my local Super 1 claims they don't take printable coupons, yet there is a link on the Super 1 site to printable coupons all the time. Weird. We only have a regular Target here, so my options are Wal-Mart (huge hassle about coupons), Brookshire's (no hassles), or Super 1 (great deals, no printable coupons). Please give us a forum!

I keep checking for an update. I've seen Brookshire's forums on other sites but they are always dead. I hope we get enough activity here to start something! Our sales flyer runs from Wednesday through Tuesday. I'd help out posting match-ups if needed!

Just thinking out loud here guys, but if we really want them to open a Brookshire's Forum, maybe we just need to get alot of buzz going here! I am new to this whole Forum/Blogging deal.....but can we at least start posting the great deals that we find here for each other? Maybe we will get more people here if we do that? There are some great deals at Brookshires this week that I have found, so I am anxious to hear any you guys have found! Let me know what you think!

That's a great idea! I also wanted to put this forum link in my signature for others who might not find this thread. I get our new Brookshire's ad today (that starts tomorrow) and I could post match-ups that I find.

Went to brookshires thursday, what a haul! I got two buggies full of groceries for around fifty dollars! I did find after checking out that I did not get the two dollars off of the corn, and they did not make the lunchmeat free, but I think it was because the trigger items were scanned after the free items, so a quick trip to cs took care of it, and I got my money back! Also, the digorno flatbreads were 4 for 10, then I used 4 1.50 off coupons, making them 1.00 each! Woohoo! The kids love these for a quick lunch, or add a salad and its a great dinner! Happy shopping all!

Stopped by Brookshires at lunch today, and saw they had Betty Crocker frostings and Warm Delights 2/3.00 (this is probably in the ad, which I haven't scoured yet!!) I did twenty transactions buying 1 for $1.50, and using a $.50 off cpn, so I got fifteen big Warm Delights and five frostings for $10.00, not a steal, but pretty cheap! We have gotten on the cakepop bandwagon lately, so we are going through cake mix and frosting like crazy!

Saturday I found chocolate peanut butter pops clearanced for $1.50! I got 6 boxes, and used six $1 off pops cpns, oop $3!!!! Woohoo! Steal! They also had a big clearance bin of medicine up front, dramamine, eye drops, etc, all under $1, with coupons all were free! I will have a great goody basket for the food pantry this week! Shop well friends!

I went yesterday and walked out with $84.65 in groceries for $31.50!

There are some pretty good deals this week, but the best are the Oscar Mayer hot dogs, Blue Bunny Bomb Pops, and Nabisco Crackers.

Oh, I also got two catalinas for $1.00 off my next shopping trip from Kraft. I'm not sure exactly what triggered it, but six boxes of crackers and eight packages of hot dogs might have done it.
