I was trying to find out if there were any previous posts about "The Grocery Game" website. I went to the top of the screen and under "Search", typed in "The Grocery Game", clicked "show threads" and "Go". It pulled up a ton of threads that had nothing to do with The Grocery Game.

I then went into the Chit Chat forum, Product Review and started a new thread. This time, when I typed in the Grocery game, it pulled up a list of previous threads about it and I was able to find the info I wanted.

My question is, what am I doing wrong in trying to use the "Search" feature?

The search function on this site will pull up any thread with words you type.. instead of pulling up a thread with all the words... Meaning, the search pulled up all threads with the word grocery, all threads with the word game, etc...

advanced search will let you search by forum which may help reducing some of the results...

Also- when you go into new thread and type the title, a list pops up showing what else is written on similar topics. I *think* you can click on those from there to view them.

lhart- can our search engine do things like the+grocery+game , or "the grocery grame", to find posts with all the words??

the "" and the + do not work on this search engine...

let me research some tweaks.. maybe there might be a way to change this... ... will be back soon if i find anything

That is what I want. To be able to search an exact title before I go to try to start a new thread. Thanks for your help!
