And I'm pretty angry about it!

I basically pay for the subscription (a subscription that continues to increase quarterly, might I add!) so I can get the inserts and they just didn't deliver it today.

Glad I paid for it. I'm going to call them tomorrow, but my husband says that if he remembers correctly, they just credit your account and they don't redeliver the paper. So... I don't get the inserts that I've been waiting for! I'm not going to be a happy camper if that's the case.



Yes, I'm throwing an e-fit, but I'm not going to lie, I was miffed to begin with about the rate of our subscription and the way they keep increasing it while decreasing the size. I kept quiet though because all I really cared about was the coupons, now they've made me angry!

Sorry that happened to you. If I were closer to you, I would have got you a paper when I went to Meijer's and got mine.

You're talking about the dispatch? You should have called them this morning, they're supposed to have it on your doorstep by 6:30 or 7:30 am. and if it isn't there someone will bring you one within an hour of calling.

I second you on the subscription price and the size, it used to be so much better.

I know the paper I go through it's about $1 a week for me since I get the Sunday Only subscription. They've missed me once but redelivered for me. I called them that day (they have 7 day a week customer service but do close early on Sunday) It doesn't hurt to ask politely if they can redeliver it with the inserts. Tell them that's really why you even have a subscription.

If you call them a little after they are supposed to be delivered most papers will send someone out to get one to you. At least the Seattle Times has done that for me, and if the delivery person had a problem that morning they let me know when I called.

I get four papers and only 1 was delivered today. I called at 7am and viola, by 9:30am they were in my lawn, not at my door like requested, but at least I got them. Some people get the inserts only, and dont have to pay for them. They don't even want them so they give them to me. I've tried and tried but for the life of me, the paper people won't throw me just the inserts, said they don't know why some people on my street get them. blah blah blah

Here in Charlotte, NC you can go online to the newspaper website and say you didn't get your paper and they will get it out to you right away. You have to let them know by 8:00 am on Sunday if you want redelivery. I have 3 subscriptions for Sunday only, $1 each. We just moved and I had to do this today but they came soon after I did the online form. Really easy.

I live in a rural area the gives me the only option of driving approximately 5 miles to purchase my Sunday Paper for my coupons. Today I spent 6.00 bucks on my papers to get them home to find no coupons. There wasn't one insert in any of them. Now I'm upset not happy at all with The Lexington Herald Leader of Ky.

Yes! It's terrible.

I didn't even realize it wasn't there until the afternoon. I asked my husband to grab it for me while I was getting my shopping list together and that's when we realized they hadn't delivered it. CS wasn't even open anymore and I *think* you have to call by a certain time anyway (early!) for them to redeliver it.

It shouldn't matter though. It's their mistake and it's something I paid for. I think even if I call today they should bring one out. Not cool Dispatch, not cool!

With the Extreme Couponing don't discount the theory that it was stolen...there has been a rash of that going on too! In our area they usually have extras just for that reason, but if your delivery person usually delivers it to you I would give him/her the benefit of the doubt.

This has been a problem in my neighborhood as well. It's no one on this block, but there is a lady in a green van that drives through early am and will take people's papers. Our neighborhood watch has even passed out warnings about her. Our paper boy hides our paper for us now, which I appreciate.

That is so obnoxious! And illegal, that's stealing! Wow.

Thankfully we received our paper with inserts correctly this weekend so hopefully it was just a freak happening. That was the first time it has happened. I don't want it repeated!
