| A sunburn means no coupons
Yup, just a minor grumble in the grand scheme of things but... AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrgggghhhhh! Due to sunburns (almost the entire family) received saturday (thanks for the defective sunscreen that I kept reapplying) I wasn't really up to much on sunday. In fact it was after midnight before I realized that none of us had left the house all day and *GASP* I didn't even have one copy of the paper. to make matters worse there were quite a few coupons in this weekend's paper that I really really wanted. Stuff for things we use regularly. Oh well I guess I'll have to pony up and actually buy some inserts. Now I just have to figure out how to do that. blehhhh as if a sunburn weren't bad enough in itself. |

awwww, that totally stinks. We went to six flags on Wednesday and the whole family got sunburned. Even the baby had a little pink above his ankles even though I purposely dressed him in pants whenever he wiggled they rode up a little. I feel your pain!

I hope your sunburn feels better soon! I'm peeling really badly myself right now, so I feel your pain too!

OUCH! That's for the sunburn. I hope its feeling better. OUCH! That's for not getting the qs on Sunday! I'm not sure which would hurt worse. I finally got tired of sunburn and bought a UV blocking swim shirt for days when I'm in the sun a lot. It's wonderful! To find out about it, Google "sun protective swimwear." They have it for infants, kids, and adults. Plus sizes are hard to find, but they are available. Just be watchful if you buy some: Many of the online companies are based outside of the US. I prefer US companies because shipping is easier. |

My 3 yr old has a couple of these but I didn't have one for the baby or the adults so... he's the only one without a burn thanks to the defective sun screen. |

Woo hoo! $2 for a UV suit is wonderful! Do you have any ideas how to get black innertube stains out of one? I wore mine last week while floating a river on an innertube. Between floating and carrying the tube, it's stained. Much of it came out in the laundry, but not all of it. The company says not to use Shout of anything similar, but to use vegetable oil soap like Murphy's. I don't have any of that, and I'd like not to buy it if possible. |

I know it worked to get the stains off our skin as kids so it's worth a shot. |

I bought Huggies sunscreen on clearance last year at Target and I checked the exp. date to make sure I could use it this year and it was 12/2010...I take it out this year and its all lumpy! Shaking it and pouring some out didn't help either! I emailed KC and asked if they think it's still good or not. They didn't answer, they just sent me coupons (can't really complain for $5 off any KC product!)so I tried using it and...nope....no sunburn but DS got a tan and I can usually keep that from happening with my Aveeno ss with the same SPF...good thing I didn't buy more of the clearanced sunscreen last year!
