I was at shoppers food warehouse today and some lady with a bunch of kids which she was not attending to was sooo breaking the rules!

In her cart she had a whole box of the bc potato pouches and a ton of bc warm delights!!!

It clearly states in the ad that you can only use 4 like coupons per transaction. It's just not fair! I come in once in the morning and once in the evening and get 4 of each so I don't break the rules. Of course I'd like to get everything in one trip! I am not selfish though.

I did something though... The moment I left I called the manager to see if I was allowed to use more than 4 Q's per transaction and he said no way and then I mentioned that there is another customer in the store with a ton of coupon items in her cart and that she wiped out the bc potatoes and I didn't think it was fair. He agreed and said he wouldn't let her check out with all of her items. I felt like a huge douche bag, but at the same time everyone should play by the rules. Uggh.

If you guys don't know... SFW is doing triples so that's why it's an issue.

Dude, she looked like she was in a foul mood... I started eyeing up the last 5 warm delights and she ran back down the isle, after she had gotten her horde of the, and grabbed them right in front of me! HOW RUDE!

I didn't speak to her and I didn't know if she would recognize me since we live in the same area... I really like my tires with air in them, . I live in a roughish area.

Gosh I would hope not, but of course it's possible. Usually I'm all for stickin it to the man, if you can legally. But I think she was being extremely greedy. I was really upset by it...

i don't think breaking the rules is doing it legally. you were right. i just wonder if those cakes and potatoes will be on the shelf tomorrow... ha ha. i just had a vision of a greedy kid marking his/her territory by licking everything so no one else will touch it.

I think I'll go to a different store tomorrow. That store is definately in a rougher area but it had seemed to be untouched yet by the super couponers until tonight. The other stores are much nicer anyways, it's a shame though because that store is the closest to my house

OR, maybe she was going to do as many transactions as it took to use all those coupons.

I know I wish I could see her get as angry as I was, .

She had a bunch of kids with her, which is why I thought I shouldn't say anything, I mean technically her kids could do some transactions too, but when I called the manager he was like oh heck no, kids cannot do transactions for you... which actually bummed me out as a whole but made me happy in the situation.

LOL!!! If my son were to be able to do transactions for me I would be thrilled!

you know, that cake company really has us wrapped around their wealthy little fingers. if you think about us thinking that basically one slice of cake for $.50 is a good deal when we can get a whole cake mix at walmart for $.78, that's nuts! but yeah, i did buy some too.

I'm cracking up at you calling the mgr and ratting her out! It's good that they weren't going to let her do that. Everytime someone hides the good stuff to get for themselves later, or breaks the rules and buys way more than allowed by policy it makes others feel that they need to do the same thing in order to not miss out. And so it just gets worse. It reminds me of how HT used to allow 5 transactions per day for triples and people were running all over town before the crack of dawn and all shelves were wiped out in the first hour and it was just general craziness. Now that it's 20 q's per card per day most people seem to be able to get their deals, just not quite as many, and there seems to be a little less stress about it.

Seriously, thanks for the story. Note to self - do not mess w/tinkadink and her triples!!

Good for you! I hate it when we stick to the rules and play nice with others. And some dirt bag comes along and says well im better and I want more so I am taking more. Cuz I can!
Actually by law even a kid is a customer. When I was working retail we had coupons for products and we were told kids could use em. Cuz well kids do get cash. I hated doing it for the pain in the tush ppl who used there kids to get mo0re for them but those wore the rules. They cannot deny a customer.

I am not sure if by law is correct way to put it but thats how it was stated to me at that place.
