Mods, please don't move this to the rant section because I really do want people's opinions as to why this is happening. Why do you all think that people are taking the coupons out of the holiday tins and not buying them? I have come across countless displays of tins with all of the coupons missing. Wouldn't people use them for the immediate deal or do you think that they are taking them out and using them for the glass holders? I'm confused as to the motivation of the coupon bandits. TIA!

Good question-Maybe they're thinking there will be an even better deal down the road. I've been taking the coupons and using them on the tins I'm buying. Hopefully they aren't using them on the wrong product-Can the ones in the tin be used on the glass holders? I didn't think they could.

I think people may use them at different stores, or they are keeping them for a K-mart doubles event..they would double to $3.00....only thing I can think of.... Why they are missing from Target ??? could be the workers???? HMMMMMM.......

I would imagine so since they are both technically oil candle holders. I went to 10 different Targets yesterday and consistently I came across the violated tins. LOL! It started to get to me after awhile.

I was wondering the same thing! I am relatively new to couponing and heard about the coupons in the tins and became excited once I saw the tins, then got bummed once I realized all the cpns were nabbed!
They probably are waiting on a better deal, but it would be nice to let some of us that dont have the coupons have some.

i've been hearing that the new tins have been coming in with no coupons...remember reading a couple threads about this...one said she was there when the glade was first set up and the tins were empty and another said that the regular stock of tins were also coming in without coupons.

Yeah, that was my post. However, the stores I went to yesterday you could plainly see that the tins were opened and tampered with. I did find two or three here or there, so I knew they had to be there to begin with. People are amazing.

i was just coming to post this. i saw them unloading at my store....stocking them on the shelves....picked up 10-12 different ones and NO coupons in them. I just figured that this new batch didn't have the q's.

I really think there are just no Q's from the MFC to start with. I too have been at target while they are stocking the shelves and none of them had Q's. Even when I have stood there and asked them to look in the back, and they bring them from the stock room, there were no Q's in those either.

I always check the tins at target and try to only buy the ones with the coupons. I have a good stock of coupons from previous sales on the tins for this sale so im trying to add to my stock of coupons with the ones i purchase. But yes people take them for a variety of reasons.

some people did not have the $2/1 left over from last year, so my guess would be they are stocking up for the deal next year? i had a bunch left from last year (they couldn't be taken out unless you open the container - much smarter, if u ask me) so i was able to use those and keep the $1.50/1 for the next transaction and such... but now there are no more $1.50/1 in ANY containers which is kind of ridiculous but i guess it takes all kinds... the $2/2 are ok, too, but i am noticing people are taking those as well. Yesterday in Target, my sister and I noticed someone had taken the 2/2, ripped off the end of the paper and threw the garbage on the shelf and took the coupons! we laughed because not only did they disrespectfully take the coupons, they littered to make couponers look horrible!

I have yet to see a Holiday tin at the Target closest to my house. We are having issues with the $2/1 coupon in the Holiday glass holders though. The coupon is very easy to get to. Last night there were 20 bayberry scented ones and not a single coupon. I got lucky and got 5 apple and cinnamon ones that had just been put on the shelf. Not sure why people wouldn't use the coupons on the spot. The glass holders and that coupon make for a 2.50 money maker with nothing else needed. If you have the buy a holder get a refill free then a 2nd $5 gift card. What's the benefit in waiting?

I always forget about q's inside the tine, but I did open a pack of refills and there was a q inside the box. Anyone else have q's in the refill boxes?

I've never seen a coupon in the glass holders. Are they typically in the holiday scent's? As that is all I have been buying lately.

Yes, if you shake the glass holder around there is a piece of paper (coupon) in there that you should see - it's nothing great - but it's the $2/2 coupon which is better than nothing.

i have had a q in a box of refills, but hav ent seen one since.. I do have about 14 boxes of refills now though that arent opened, but Im not gonna open every pack to see if theres a q LOL. Has anyone noticed that FL, at least the one HERE anyway, Mainly only carries the 3 pk refill and not the 3+1 packs.. Only 4 pk refills i've found are the holiday scents, and even some of those are only 3pks.. I plan on going to Target next week to see what I can into .. My BF saw my pile and was like THIS IS SAD, YOU REALLY THINK YOU NEED THIS MANY AIR FRESHNERS? hahah. Hopefully there will be some good q's in this sundays paper, but I think only p&g has the glade ones.. am I wrong? Or is it redplum?

I bought 5 tins at Target today and made sure the ones I got had qs in them. I am not sure if these were a new shipment or have been there for a while. So keep checking the tins...you might get lucky!
