| Boo Hoo.... I wonder if this is the start at my Target
I just went to Target to get some snacks I needed and Walmart was mobbed. I checked out with a teenage boy. I only had coupons for 2 archer farms chips, that was it. I had about 15.00 worth of other snacks I really needed with or without coupons. The kid read the coupons and told me I could only use one per transaction. Yes I know it says one per transaction, but so far if I used 2 or 3 not one other cashier has said a word. I never used more than that, even with the Bliss bars. I wonder if this is the start, but what gets me is that Target sets these deals up so you have to buy more then one of things, then teases you with a coupon, but won't let you use more than one, which is pointless in my opinion. Forgive me, this is my first experience of this kind, so I kind of had to vent. |

I had my first similar experience this past week, after about 5 months of blissful shopping. I've never abused the Target Q's either, I think my max was 4 of one kind in one trip. I consider that reasonable. It's frustrating, and I'm hoping it was just the clerk I got this time (my favorite wasn't working). This clerk wouldn't push anything through that beeped, costing me about $6. Keeping my fingers crossed it's not a store-wide enforcement on the Target Q's now! |

I am also hoping it was just that he looked at them and not something they are starting at the store. I may not know until the new Target coupons come out Sunday and see if there is anything I want to try it with. I do have some favorite cashiers during the week when I normally go. |

I had the same experience, called corporate, they said that is NOT the policy, although each store CAN limit coupons to a family size amount and NO, ONE is NOT a family size amount. The lady I talked to at corporate said she would call the store and set them straight!!

The only thing about that is that the Target coupons do say right on them one per transaction, so I am not sure what I would say if I called. What did you say and was it about the Target coupons themselves?

I had two bad experiences like this in a row...first, at Target A I was using 4 glade 1.50 coupons to purchase the tins...the cashier read it, and said it is only 1 per purchase. I told her I know, it means per piece. She said, no that means one per transaction. I told her to just put it through, it wouldn't beep. She did so begrudgingly. I wasn't going to debate her, I would have just had her call her manager if she continued to argue with me. Second was using the AF chip coupon. I used 6, the young cashier called the manager over. They hemmed and hawed for a minute, then let me buy them. Still, two in one day is not a good sign! |
