| Subway
I had a horrible experience last night at a subway, there was an employee writing a schedule (what schedule comes out on a Tuesday so it was soo important to do that night). THis is the letter that I emailed corporate. Let me know if I was wrong to do so... -------------------------------------------------------------------------- We went into Subway last night, and there was an employee sitting doing paperwork in the dining are. She never once acknowledged us. We stood at the line for at least 5 minutes, even verbally debating on leaving the store. During this time two more people showed up behind us. After the final customer showed up about 3 minutes later she finally yelled across the store to a another employee "Hey You have got customers". By that time there were 4 customers, and the sitting employee continued to sit. It took us 20 minutes to get our food and get out of the store. I was very disappointed, as one employee could not adequately assist us all. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- THanks for letting me rant!

I think that was a good letter to write....hope you hear something back from them...You shouldn't have to wait like that for them to serve you.....let us know..

It is a great letter, but I have to ask, did anyone ask the employee if there was anyone to help at the counter? I only ask because I used to work in a supermarket and part of my job was to do some paperwork. The only time I had to do the paperwork was on my lunch break and I had several customers complain loudly about me sitting down when people needed help. |

I just have to say that I DO agree that it's frustrating to have to wait for service.... but.... just because it's a Tuesday DOESN'T mean the schedule wasn't due the next day or not improtant to be working on. DH's schedule right now runs Tuesday to Monday, and at his old work it was Thursday to Wednesday. Not everyone works Monday to Firday and has weekends off.

I just knew that at another Subway, the schedule goes up on Friday. Also I would think that if the schedule did come out on Wednesday, I would think that it would go up earlier than the night before, as a courtesy to the employees. Where I work as soon as the customer walks in, if I can't assist them, I immediately find someone who can.

At the subway I work at, the schedule goes up on Tuesday as our work week runs wednesday-tuesday. Although our manager never ignores customers due to paperwork and one of us are always at the counter when we hear our buzzer go off. Sorry you had such a bad experience not all subways are this way though

Very good letter. No reason for that kind of rudeness. I agree with the above. My subway in my town are great. They are always so friendly and helpfull
