i had over 60 of the foil coupons and was wondering how to get them all this week.

So far i have gotten 30 with no problem, but yesterday an assisant manager gave me the hardest time.

first he told me that i was trying to take all of Walgreens profit
then he told me that my coupon would exceed the amount and
last he told me that they didn't make 25 feet foil any more.........

all i could say was " what the..............." are you serious? i think that all this happened because i got 10 and a pepsi and he didn't want me to get the great deal.

why did he just make this stuff up? the coupon states (except 25 ft), he misread it thnk that i said only on 25ft. For his every answer i had an answer, but i ended up leaving without anything. i just hate the fact of knowing that he would talk about me when i left.

any advice? please help me to feel better, because i don't want to feel like i have done anything wrong.

You haven't done anything wrong just go to another store and next time try to do a little less like 5 foils and a couple more fillers. You got to throw them off sometimes

I have a question. Can you get more than 2 at a time? Walgreens coupon said limit 2. TIA.

Some cashiers will let you have more than 2 at a time. It's usually best to stay at their limit or very close so you don't bring attention to yourself

It's silly because Walgreens actually makes more money if you use the manu coupon! Say you're only buying one foil. If you pay for an $.89 item with a $1/1 q and they adjust it down so you pay nothing, Walgreens still gets back the full $1 from Reynolds. So they actually get more money than they would from someone who just used the IVC!

Now, in some cases they could also give you the overage if you're buying more items, but they're still not out any money! They still get the whole $1 back. The whole "you're stealing from Walgreens" thing is wrong.

Technically the "correct" way to redeem would be to go in 60 different times and buy one foil, but I honestly don't believe Reynold's is going to check every transaction to make sure only one q was used. By the time the qs get back to them they're just in one giant pile from all the Walgreens' nationwide.

I went to bilo to finish up my free veggies and After I check out I walk back in and the cashier had my receipt and was telling the bookkeeper that I only paid 3 cent,When she saw me she almost broke her neck running back to aisle she was on.AND I said very loudly I was going to call corp. and tell them you was talking about me.She ask me where I got he coupons for the veggie I told her del monte
LOL,she said they could not find them of the veggies aisle,OK you work in the store they been on sale for 2 weeks and you never check the aisle for coupons.I bust out laughing when I left the store. IF she was nice but she rarely is I would have give her some q like I did my last cashier,but I know she Is a pain and she hate to see me come,but I do not care and I love to watch her face when she takes my coupons and watch my total go down. I work nites and I tried to do my deals especial the last day deals in the morning that way I do not have to worry about getting up and run to the store.OK I admit it I love going there when she there just to watch her face twist every time she scan a coupon.She only work in the morning time so the odds she is there .So do no tworry about the manger or the cashiers as long as you is right.

Please note that the coupons do say "one per purchase/household" and the limit from Wags is 2.

Buying way more than the limit will most likely grab the cashier's attention, so sometimes it is better to ask them first if it is okay if you buy more than the limit.

These foil sales have been coming up so I'm sure you'll have more opportunities to use your coupons

I have to agree with you there. I hate going there unless I have to for a great deal like this.

There are three girls at mine that will let me get as many things, I could get 20 at a time, they actually get excited whn I come in and can't wait to see what i get. I try to keep it around the limit if it is the managers or the cashiers that give me a problem. One time, I went 11 o'c clock on Saturday night for the cascade. The guy cashier would only let me get four! I was trying to buy 6 and there were no limits on it. It was also 11 pm and the sale ended in an hour. He said that they had to have for the other customers. I told him there are still 8 on the shelf and the sale ended in an hour but he still wouldn't let me get them. He is a jerk.

Most of the time when a coupon has to be adjusted (at least at Walmart) they are supposed to write that amount on the coupon to be redeemed. This is what they should do anywayt and I'm sure there are a few honest in the Walgreens accounting.

These coupons specify one per household, so you are right, if they want to get technical, they need to have 60 seperate transactions. Just want to let other aware most coupons do not say one per household or transaction. If the coupon says one per purchase, that means each item is a purchase.

Shop with a buddy if you can... that always helps
