How Many Would You Buy On A Hot Sale Or Great Sale? Vent

How many items do you buy at a time if a sale is hot or great.. I went to albertsons and got

36 pine sols,8 of the 409 cleaners,and 20 clorex wipes i got the wipes free for buying the pine sol and 409 ..It ended up being $1.50 a bottle which is great for them being the bigger bottles of pine sol and getting the free clorex wipes... I thought the store messed up my order so i called the store tonight, "they messed up on it earlier today they had to re ring up my transaction i was there for like a hour for them to fix everything" and the manager got on the line and said i shouldnt have bought that many i got way to much for one person and he has the right to limit my quanities, which is fine, but i really dont think he should have treated me the way he did ...the whole store knows what i do i buy for my family and other familys and help other people out when they need the help... If this item was not on sale with coupons i highly doubt they would care how many i bought, i used to spend lots of $$$ at this store before i was doing coupons i would stock up for the month on food items and house supplies...

How many does everyone else buy at a time?

Why do couponers get treated rude??/

thats what i'm thinking too ..I still left plenty for other people on the shelf , so 36 of one item is not a outragous amount to get ????

If it is something I use all the time, or really need, I will buy for how many I have coupons. If it is something I will donate - same thing. I am not gonna drive twice to drop off the stuff. As long as I leave loads more on the shelf I dont see any problem.

Anyway - if the store has those things on sale, dont they usually stock up, cause they know it is gonna sell? Dont they have more than usual? Isn't it more or less the idea to buy the stuff?

I can understand them limiting quantities, but they should tell you that at the time of purchase or in the ad. It sounds like they didn't tell you until after when you were trying t figure out why it rang up wrong?

yes they should state it in the ad like they do with the other stuff, the cashier told me there was no limit and the manager knew how many i was getting when they were fixing my order... what happend is i was susposed to have 20 of the clorex wipes come off my order to be free but only 6 did..I told the cashier this and she said she didnt know anything about it so she said pay for this and go to cusotmer service and they will fix it well sence i used catlinas and coupons with this order they couldnt give me the refund on the extra money i put towards the free wipes i spent on..so they had to void the whole transaciton out and do a new one... i thought they messed up on this one too i got home and checked my recepit a couple of hours later and noticed something wasent taken off it..thats when the manager told me i shouldnt have bought so much and from now on he will put a limit on stuff and that i should come in and re ring my whole order up and not let me use all my catlinas and RR's... but i'm not dragging my little one through that again tomorrow i will pass on it, I got a great deal on it its one of those stores that dont care for coupons...

I buy as many as I have coupons for, or as many as I think we can use/ give away before it goes bad. Especially if it is a good deal, I say get what you can. If I live close to the store, I do break my trips up. I might go once when the offer is new and then once again before it is over. I don't like leaving nothing on the shelves. If it is something I can get a raincheck for, I will do that if it is gone.

a limit of sale stuff for everyone or just you?
