Angry My First BAD Target experience

Well, maybe I had 2 in a row, but the second was worst. First I went last week to do the pop-tart deal. No problem there until I noticed she took a bunch of Q's, but did not take them off of my receipt=( She hit K3 instead of K1--the nerve of her. After arguing with the head cashier that they do in fact accept Target Q's she refunded my 9 dollars!!!!

Then I went back in this week to use my giftcards and Q's on the Kashi deal; the cashier insisted that she could not accept coupons on a sale when you get giftcards??? They are already on special she said. So I asked her if she really thought I could not use coupons on something that was on sale? She still insisted she had to get permission to do the transaction. Finally I convinced her she was allowed. Then, after all was said and done I go to pay and I thought my previous giftcards should cover the total and they didn't OK maybe I added wrong..used my 4 GC of which she tries to tell me I cannot use them b/c I received G/C in the transaction...GRRRRR I had to physically show her HERE are the 3 you gave me and here are 4 I am using to pay.....took awhile but she got it... Then AGAIN check my receipt and a $5 Q was taken from me, but not on my reciept...CS gave me my 5 no problem, but c'mon if you are going to override hit hit the K1, if you are going to refuse it tell me so I can void the item AND get my Q back!!!

OK enough ranting, it worked out in the end, but how frustrating-felt like the girl thought I was stealing!!!!!!!!!

Yes, you can use coupons on sales/GC deals (duh, what would be the point otherwise?). Yes, you can use previously earned/purchased GC's to pay for a transaction in which you will earn more GC's. You just can't use the GC you got from the Kashi deal to pay for the Kashi deal.

Your cashier was misinformed. Fortunately, it sounds like the CS desk at your store was on top of things Better luck next time.
