Okay, sorry, but I have to get up on my soap box:

Do people just completely ignore the "Here are the similar threads we found" when starting a new thread? Or do people just not care and purposely ignore identical threads just to increase their own count?

I can't tell you how many times I have come across duplicate threads and it just gets my goat. For example, I have come across the Completely Free Kotex a number of times, all different threads started by different people. It would be one thing if it was a new offer, but from my experience it is not. I myself have come to post something in the Completely Free forum and found that someone beat me to it. I respectfully cancel what I started. If people take the time to read similar thread suggestions we could eliminate unnecessary posts. This rant does not only apply to the Completely Free forum. I have been reading so many posts about the Colgate Total w/ 2 trial sizes that I could vomit. Unless it's your first day to AFC, I'm pretty sure that all members are well aware of the Colgate deal on clearance w/ a Man Q and T Q, get it free or possible overage... yada, blah blah, yada, blah...

It's pretty simple to tell if it's the same offer. If someone else has already posted the same/similar offer within days or maybe even weeks; pretty good chance it's a duplicate post.

I apologize if someone finds this inappropriate but my rant has been mounting for a while now.
