DH found a $3/40 catalina (I have not seen a $5 or better in awhile). I also received a $2 off 8ct+ Scott TP which I used along with .75 manufacturer (doubled) making a good deal.

You were able to use a catalina coupon and a manufacturer coupon for the same product? I've tried this at Shaws and they said no way. Nice to know if Stop & Shop does this

I discovered something new. Now, they are giving "card reward" catalinas. They are for one category of product. For example, last week I got 3. one of them was for laundry detergent. You save $3.00 off ANY brand. Its great!

I got two CATs for free eggs wyb $10 worth of groceries and then I got one for a free 5lb bag of sugar wyb $10 worth of groceries.

Do they scan when you use a S&S store coupon with a manufacturer's coupon? I always have so much trouble trying to use the store coupons... I didn't even want to try to use it combined with a MQ. Thanks in advance.

I went thru the self check out, I scanned my card, then a store coupon for $1 off laundry detergent, then the manufactures coupon for tide for $1 off 2. I got both credits. I bought, 2 tides for $5 each, and charmin toilet paper for $10, and at the end I got a $10 cat for my next trip. Not bad for $8 out of pocket.

The Kraft catalina that is mentioned in the Shaws forum is also going on at Stop & Shop, I believe until 1/24. It is buy 5 products and get $5 back. I bought:
1 cracker barrel marbled sharp cheese $2.99
2 Philadelphia Cream Cheese light $1.79 each
1 Breakstone light sour cream $2.00
1 Breakstone cottage cheese $2.49
total $11.06 got $5 cat

I didn't use any Q's, I just was picking up a few things and needed cheese anyway, but not a bad deal even without Q's.

This was great since Green Works is on sale at my S&S at least this week, maybe even longer. There is $.50 IP that doubles of course.

From what I was told the clerk you turn it in to is suppose to rip the cat up and throw it away.
