So nothing to even put in the GDA thread that I see or that catches my eye this week...anyone else?

I wanted to point out that this is one of the reasons that I started and love couponing and having a grocery stockpile. Weeks like this I can just sit back and eat what we have without having to go shopping and pay more than I'd like to. Well I still have to take grandma shopping, but I won't be buying anything this week .

So since there's not much going on I thought this week we could all share the reasons why we started couponing.

I'm right with you on taking a break.
I started couponing last yr in May because I thought I was going to lose my job.having a daughter with a medical condition that some things the ins doesn't cover is rough.
Not only did I not lose my job,I got a bonus this yr for being a valuable employee (in my words employee of the yr)
Plus I'm able to help my mom and others with my stock pile when I couldn't before.
Thanks everyone for helping guide me through matchups ,I'm horrible at matching up coupons and sales



edited to add i'm laid off every summer,so stock piling is a must.unemployment is nice to fall back on to pay bills,but nothing left over for groceries.so what mrsday1188 says below me,stocking up "like a bear" is a good way of putting it.I stock up for summer until I go back again,plus you never know when/if the employer might have to make cuts again.

I love being able to help out my mom and grandma too. Grandma loves walking onto the porch and being able tograb toilet paper because "it's so expensive". She helped us alot growing up so it feels amazing to kind of pay her back.

When I started couponing it was because I was going to lose my job as well. I was pregnant when I started taking an interest in coupons because I wasn't going to get paid maternity leave and knew we would need to scrape by for a month. Then the year after I started really stocking up because the economy really went bad and I was informed that I'd be laid off from November to the end of March each year. I always laugh and tell people we're like bears and we need to stock up for winter .

Excuse me cuz I confuse easy sometimes.
But I'm not sure what the 2.25 is. If you are talking about fuel perks it's a bonus .10 for every 4 bottles.

The q I have is .50/2 v8 splash 64oz or larger, where do I get the .50/1?

It is per transaction. you would have to do separate transactions for every 3 you buy.

My coupon is for the smoothies kind, I believe they were in my newspaper. You could also try a coupon clipping service or ebay? I do not know which insert they were in sorry

Thanks! I was just there and only bOught two.. Then went back and bought another but the coupon didn't print out.. Guess it had to be all at once oops!! Still a good deal!

Still no luck with the 2.25 coupon.. I did two separate transactions buying 3 v8s each time and no coupon

I think I remember seeing this and I think it's for the v8 fusion drinks and it's the v8 splash versions that are on sale

It is still listed on their web sight that the oyno will still print. Mine did not print today either. I called and they said they would mail them to me. Sorry everyone is having trouble with this. I had done this 2 weeks ago buying the same juice and it worked I hope they fix this soon I bought coupons
