Heard through another Blog that GE's coupon policy is changing...anyone know about this and what is changing?

No idea, but my guess would be that they're not going to allow you to stack eQs with MQs anymore since Kroger stopped this and has really cracked down on it.

And probably allow no more than 4 of the same item. I am fine with that change as I am not an Extreme Couponer, just trying to save our family some money :-)

They do as of right now.

I seem to forget about eq's and e-offers although yesterday it was a pleasant surprise that they popped up on my GE receipt and saved me $1.25....I need to pay more attention to them before I check out just to make sure!

I don't even mess with eQ's now - sometimes they come off, sometimes they don't - just too much hassle. I prefer the paper qs and then I'm not surprised with my total. JMO -

I wouldn't be happy with a 4 like coupon limit. Sometimes you need more than that to get a good deal when there is a cat involved. But then, I guess they can do whatever they want without Sandy M's approval.

If we're going to make up rumors.. I'd rather it be that you can do no more than one or two transactions in a row.. I like using 12 coupons in one transaction.

I would hope they would keep the 12 coupon limit, or at least 10. if they are going to have things like 10 for $10 deals or dollars of when you buy a certain number (6,8, etc..) that is only fair that thay accept coupons for those...

My GE is only 5 like coupons doubled per transaction, and its set into the register not to double the 6th one and beyond

My GE only doubles 2 like coupons. You can use up to 4, but only 2 will double.

The GE you two are shopping at must be a privately owned store. Corporate policy states that they will accept & double 12 alike coupons. I have heard some people say they contacted Corporate and they were told that the privately owned stores were supposed to be following Corporate Policies on coupon redemption. You might want to call and see what they have to say. I havent talked to anyone regarding this issue myself since my stores accept 12 alike, but as I said, thats what I've heard about a month ago.

At my giant eagle they will double 5 like coupons per transaction and I was told by a manager there was no limit to how many like coupons I can use in the same transaction just that the first 5 would be doubled.

My Giant Eagle (Lewis Center OH) will take 12 like coupons. Just like corp policy.
And they all double to .99 (75 to 1.50 etc)

I have noticed that mQ's now say limit 4 like coupons on them now.

I know P&G's do.. have some of the other companies changed the wording on them as well? As with everything... YMMV.
