Today, I walked into Shop N Save just to remind myself why I do not shop there. Everything I looked for, even the sale items are higher than GE. So ocasionally I have to remind myself of their regular high prices. I have to admit, some sales are good, but GE beats them by a mile.

Anyway, here is an item I found free with coupons from Ebay. Starkist Ready Made Pouch Tuna Salad. .75 cents off doubles to $1.50 which is the price at GE. These coupons are good until 11/15/09. They have a sale tag, and it says they are on sale until 5/5/10 and that is next year. So if you like tuna salad get some coupons cheap and get you some free tuna salad. The tuna salad pouches do not expire until 2012. The one on the left is the one that is $1.50 not the albacore one. Now that is alot of tuna! LOL

I hear ya on the Shop & Save thing! They do have some good prices on lunch meat so I usually stop in there for that. But tonight, as I'm at the checkout counter waiting....waiting....waiting for a cashier to come, I said to myself "Why do I come in here?". Prices are higher even on sale items. Occasionally a few good deals and like I said, we do like the lunch meats and prices on them. But their customer service, at least at my store, is horrible.

I looked again tonight, Chunk Light Tuna Salad is 2/$3 or $1.50 each. Albacore Tuna Salad is 2/$4 or $2 each, so you would have to pay 50 cents for the Albacore, but the Chunk Light Tuna Salad is free.

I ask myself that at many stores here. How about Ohio 1.99 milk price? We do not even have that. The thing i dislike does anyone know how GE eagle has less workers than they had last year? each store had to layoff 30 percent of staff so they could lower the prices. I been told this in an e-mail form a manger and also a few workers.

Other stores in Pittsburgh do have better loss items each week than GE by the way just have to check the front page of the ads. Don't forget about target or CVS.

My q's came yesterday and went after work today and got my free tuna - I order 2 sets of 12- got all 24 today. My son is the only one that eats tuna in our house so we should be set for quite some time on that! Thanks again Jim!

I guess I probably shouldn't tell you they just adjusted a new low price on milk @ $1.89.

This is about (on average) .20 higher than Meijer and Walmart but I am more willing to buy my staple items here just because it makes it easier that I don't have to stop several places AND GE has fuel perks unlike Meijer and Wally world.


Also wanted to add I ordered Q's and am in the process of stocking up on 20 free pouches of tuna. My GE only allows 4 like coupons per customer per day so I have to go back each day and do 4 at a time.
