Giant Eagle is again running the 5 for $10 Kellogg's cereal deal. If you get 10 boxes in one transaction, you can send in the UPCs +receipt +
this form (look on the bottom, right side, then click and register if you haven't- form will load as PDF) for a $10 rebate + a $70 Dell online credit.
I did this last week using some insert Qs, the redplum IP for $1.50 off two (mini wheats, etc.), and the Special K Blueberry IP on coupons.com (it only let me print one IP per PC, very odd).
Last week, Special K Red Berries, Mini Wheats Big Bites, Raisin Bran, and Special K Blueberry were all part of the 5 for $10. I think Special K Vanilla (?) was also.
For even more incentive:
On the back of the Mini Wheats are tokens for a free DVD (from their list of choices). Look on the back and make sure the box has a token that is not expired (one of mine expired on 3/31/09). Also, the boxes each had an extra token, so if I'd have gotten all four current tokens, I'd have already had a free DVD*.
Special K cereals also have a free DVD mail-in offer (I'm not sure how many Special K certificates you need)*.
Combine this deal with the incentives GE gives you registering your GE card with your email address ($5) and for viewing the weekly ad ($2)- thought I'm not sure if the $2 is a weekly deal or a one-time only as with the registering incentive. The clerk should ask you if you want to use your rewards, so you could use it on this deal or another transaction.**
*I don't think either offer required money for shipping & handling.
**I don't believe using these incentives will affect your rebate in any way, but I am not sure it won't, either. I used coupons on my rebate and I believe those won't affect it, so I don't think these would either.
I don't normally shop GE, but I sure did last week!
