Hi all, I'm pretty new around here and have never posted in the Giant Eagle thread before, but I was looking through the ad yesterday and noticed this pretty good deal -- thought I'd share.

$3 next shopping trip wyb $10 of the following:

colgate toothpaste 2/$3 -- use 2 $.75 coupons, double to $1.50= FREE
Irish Spring body wash 2/$7 -- use 2 $.50 coupons, double to $1 = 2/$5.00

Get back $3

So get 2 tubes of toothpaste and two Irish Spring Body wash for $2

I'm chewing on that deal. I've got loads of toothpaste q's but I'm wondering exactly which of the colgates are on sale? Does it include the kid's colgate??

I don't think it includes the kid's, I wish it would -- we actually USE that!! They show a picture of the sensitive tube of toothpaste. I have tons of toothpaste stockpiled, so I'll probably just donate this to charity.

Oh and Colgate Kid's toothpast IS on sale 2 for $4, but it is not part of the get $3 wyb $10 promo.

Yeah, last time they had this sale it was just the 'regular' kinds of toothpaste - no kids or fancy kinds LOL So the colgate advnaced coupons wont work for the 2/3$ price, but they will work for the 2/5$ price. The 75 cents off any kids or adult toothpaste is the one that makes the regular toothpaste varieties free (or a 3$ MM after the cat)

Here is the list of qualifying items for the get 3$ oyno wyb 10$ (Thanks goes to Foods4Less on another forum for posting the cat advertisement she got)

So I'm thinking the kids toothpaste might just work, as it's not excluded on the info from the cat. Dates are the same 2/5 - 2/1

I don't think the kids toothpast will work because it is listed seperately in the ad for 2/$4, but not included in the grouping for $3 OYNO. Bummer.

I am going to be doing the $3 OYNO when you buy $10 worth of products. If you have (4) .75 any Colgate thp q and (2) .75 Lady Speed Stick 24/7 qs (all will double), you'll end up paying $1 (with tax, of course!) and getting $3 OYNO. The Colgate thp is 2 for $3 and the Lady Speed Stick 24/7 is 2 for $4. It has to be the lady kind since the sale excludes the men's. Hope this helps somebody!
