I went to Giant Eagle today to get lots of stuff that I thought would be super cheap. I had 7 coupons for my pizza roll, but it seems like they didn't double all of them. Do they have a limit to how many they will double?

Our GE doesn't allow overage so it only doubles to the amount that makes them free. So, if something is $1 and I have a $0.75 coupon for it, it takes of $0.75 and $0.25. If a coupon is $x.xx/2, it usually doubles with no problem as long as it doesn't create overage.

The other thing I ran into today was the cashier took the "do not double" verbage very seriously and keyed in something to make the coupon not double even though it started with a 5 (it would have doubled on it's own had she not bargain blocked it). This is never happened to me before so I was suprised. I'll make sure to avoid her next time

I know that my mom told me one of the GE's back around her only allows 5 of the same coupons per transaction. She said it was posted at the check outs. That was in altoona.

Up around butler we don't have this problem.

Check the receipt to see if it doubled. If not I would take the receipt to the customer service desk and ask to be reimbursed.

Always make sure you give your Giant eagle card first before the coupons are scanned. I have made the mistake of giving coupons before they scan my card and the coupons do not get doubled. They have to void and redo the transaction.

Since when? Do they only double the first coupon of 'like' coupons. Or just the first coupon in general? I'd be doing separate transactions in that case!

That's just crazy! Other than my do-not-double experience today, I've never had problems using getting a gazillion of the sames coupons double (I have the Mitchum to prove it!). I'm sorry your store is such a PIA. The policies do seem to vary quite a bit from store to store.

My Giant Eagle will only allow 2 internet printed coupons of the same item. I found this out with the plantars and kraft deal.

they still have not emailed me back. Most of my coupons were from the papers
