When you mess up all kinds of deals?

I screwed up FOUR deals at GE today!

First of all, I went all the way to the store and forgot my wallet so I had to go back home. Clearly this threw off my bargain mojo because here are my blonde moments (all of which occured at checkout):

- I picked up BOGO Ball Park hot dogs instead of Oscar Mayer (for which I had coupons)

- Since I didn't get Oscar Mayers, the system promptly kicked out my free Wheat Thins coupon

- I accidently gave a July P&G Gillette Satin Care coupon instead of the new August one. The coupon nazi of a cashier couldn't just hand it back like I had made an honest mistake, she made a huge deal out of me trying to swindle her with an expired. To her credit, she already had to give me back the Oscar Mayer and Wheat Thins coupon, so I know I looked like a real jerk already.

- I bought 2 Soft Soap body washes and a Colgate toothpaste, expecting to get the $3 cat. I did get a two cats but, neither of which was a $3 oyno! And I didn't realize this until I was in the car.

So, I could've saved over $6 in coupons I couldn't use and should've gotten a $3 oyno cat! I'm too embarrased to even bother with returns.



I was going to make a CVS run after that, but I just went home!

So sorry, I hate when things like that happen. I just try to look at the bright side and think of all the money I have saved previously...not that it helps that much but it helps a litttle.

I don't blame you for skipping CVS, I would have too

Thanks, ladies. I'm definately looking at the bright side. I'm up to my eyeballs in free napkins, razors, Excedrin, and Bayer from last week so hopefully this evens out my bargain karma.

i too have those days! i had it at walgreens the other day. i went to buy baby water and didnt even know they had it onsale with the in ad coupon for i paid 3.00+ for 2 waters... i've also done MANY mistakes at target.

I tried the same deal for the $3 cat. I didn't get it either. After I got home and examined my receipt, turns out the regular price on one of the toothpastes was $2.19 instead of $2.99 like the other one. I should know better than to do cat deals on my lunch hour . . . . oh well.
