I think it depends on you, I do better at Wal-Mart with price matching and Qs but my mother-in-law rocks target with her online Qs and MQs! We don't have a K-Mart anymore (this is Wal-Mart country, where the home office is...they didn't stand a chance!) I hope you find what works best for you!

I haven't done price matching at walmart, so maybe that's why. Also the target here is just so so much nicer than walmart. The experience is just better.

Target, honestly everytime I go into Walmart I get annoyed. This Walmart, I went into it, twice, and they didn't have the PurinaOne Beyond boxes of cat food both times. And limited supplies of everything else I wanted to get.

I only have one Target compared to WM in every corner. My WMs ain't that bad and I don't do large trxn so I don't have issues with or without coupons. the only KMart we have closed, about 2 years ago, it had the worst customer service among the box stores so I'm not surprised at all.

I love love love both of my Targets. Extremely easy to shop @ both. I like Walmart for the deals but won't go out of my way to shop there. Also Target does allow you to price match too.. |

| Exactly! Thats how mine was too. Except I was planning on buying the Purina One Beyond in Cat & dog foods. And no dog ones anywhere to be seen. Then I looked for the Advil pocketpacs and there wasn't anything. everythings a mess at mine!! :/

I voted for Walmart, because ours has the BEST customer service ever. I always get help and treated with such respect. We have 3, the one I get my Rx's at is my favorite. I like Target, but it isn't a Super Target. Nice & empty--hardly any shoppers with 7 employees to each customer, but sale stock or clearance cannot be found? |

Don't shop at Kmart because there are only a rare few in my state - plus my dad worked there for 25 years and they totally screwed him over I love Target thats what I voted forbut I love walmarts overage policy - but figure in the rude cashiers, dirty stores, and unstocked shelves most of the time .. I'd prefer target

Walmart. We only have one Kmart, it's on the rough side of town and the store is dirty and poorly stocked. We now have two Targets but I just don't like them and I don't have a specific reason. I've shopped there several times but never felt satisfied, like I got my money's worth. |

I love the deals and products I get at Target. At Walmarts in my area, the stores are dirty, the layout difficult to navigate, stock of products I look for is low or nonexistant, and just an overall unimpressing shopping experience. However, the last few times I've been, the cashiers have been very friendly. By contrast, Target's layout is easy to shop, product is usually in stock, and I very often get freebies/cheapies with TQs, and sometimes with MQs. The customer service is sub-par, for the most part. The overall perception at the locations I shop at is the mentality of "free/cheap products with qs is kin to stealing." GSTLs are very coupon unfriendly, mixed coupon acceptance policies from different LODs, and cashiers that have been instructed to scrutinize and deny valid qs make for sometimes difficult check-outs. But overall, I end up with the deals I want.

I live kind of close to all 3 stores too, but I'm within walking distance from Wal-Mart (.7 miles,it's at the entrance of my neighborhood!) I voted for Wal-Mart. I like that you can price match, and they are starting to get coupon friendly. I used to be able to find great clearance deals at Target when they first came to our area about 5 years ago, but I never see the 75% and 90% off anymore. Kmart is OK for clearance, and they have some good sales on home decor, but I never see any really excellent deals. |

I voted Target, our Walmart has HORRIBLE customer service, the cashiers are uptight, that's if you can find one that speaks more then 5 words of English, poorly stocked on alot of things, especially if it's something we have coupons for, Clearance most of the time they hold on to until 3 times a year, they will have racks amongst racks clogging up the busiest isle of the store so it is even harder to pass in the already crowded store. I went in the other week and got a few things on clearance, the cashier literlly pulled up the clearance tags to scan the item then said full price charge, in the midst of me trying to explain there is a clearance tag, oh yea did I say she didn't speak a lick of English? She scaned and voided the items for 5 mins, literlly then said wait, she took the items back to the clearance racks, came back with another person 10-15 minutes later and the other person had to tell me even though the clearance tags was on my items they was not on clearance and they are full price and there is nothing they will do about it. She was the main person to talk to then, so I emailed corporate for nothing to happen. What a waste. I will not shop there again unless there is a tremendous deal and then even I'll send someone to go for me... I HATE Walmart, too much trouble, everytime I use a coupon or buy clearance it's a hassle and a headache I don't need. Sorry for the rant.

Amanda- there is a walmart like that a few towns over from me & I absolutely REFUSE to go there! There are 2 walmarts in my town & the one farthest from me is the best for everything..... What you decribed sounds like a lot of Kmarts that are still left in my area & I drive 20 minutes away to go to one that is decent. Tina |

Target! I've had great coupon experiences there-they compliment me and tell m about other deals. Walmart...I tried to Q there and at about 3 different stores. I received rude service or just cashiers who did not know the policy. I gave up trying to coupon at Walmart last summer. Kmart... I did two trips there and one went well. Overall though it's kind of a drive for me and unless it's a crazy good sale they are usually overpriced. Plus the only one close is in a not so great area of town.
