Does anyone coupon at vitamin cottage? I just discovered this store where we live and love it!! I am just wondering if there's good deals there and how couponing goes there. TIA

Are you taking about Natural Grocers store? I've recently started shopping there & have found some good deals! But it's not very close to my house so I don't make it there very often.

Natural Grocers is my favorite store

I think their prices are very good. I often find products there cheaper than I do at local grocery stores (Smiths, Safeway) and Walmart (products like Rice Dream, Silk, Stonyfield, etc).

They are very coupon friendly. Their registers give overage too

Went yesterday. Here's a few things I found...

Applegate farms turkey breast is on sale for $3.99 and there's a $1 off coupon on their site, so only $2.99/pkg. I can never find that sandwich meat this cheap. Normally $5.99 and up!

Also kettle brand chips, 7oz bags, were on sale for $1.69 - there's a $1 off coupon out there too. So only $.69.

Blue diamond crackers were cheap too but I didn't have that coupon on me so I didn't buy. Don't remember the price.

Good deal on organic green beans. I think $1.99/lb. my HEB sells them for $3.99/lb

That's awesome. I will definitely be starting to shop there. It's so hard to get cheap healthy foods. I can't wait for the farmers markets to start up again.

I dunno I live in NWI and it's very easy and cheap for me and my husband to eat healthy. For us that means no processed foods and no grains (including bread, oats, and so on). It's cut down drastically on the grocery shopping too.

I also find it can be difficult to find cheap healthy foods - "cheap" is relative though. I don't know about MillerTime, but I think it has a lot to do with family size and budget (partly area, finding decent produce here is rough, organic or not). If it was just my husband and I, my food budget would only need to feed 2 instead of 5 (it might also not be as tight because I wouldn't have to pay for tae kwon do, ballet, homeschool materials, kids clothes/shoes, etc ).

I've decided if I want cheap healthy unprocessed foods, I need to grow it/raise it/kill it myself We're starting this summer with a garden and chickens.

Thanks for all the info! There's one a block away from me, but I've never been. I've been thinking about expanding my 'couponing realm', so I was looking up info tonight to get ready! This is all really helpful.
