I was thinking you could get the magnum ice cream deal. Here is what I think, please correct me if I am wrong on price as I have only bought them on sale.

$3.99 a box buy 4/$16 use the $5 off then the $1/1 mq should bring the balance to $7 which is $1.75 a box that's just .25 more then when I got them for $1.50 a box


$3.99 x 4 = $15.96 - 5 = $10.96 - 4 = $6.96 / 4 = $1.74

I'm just going to use it to get those little Hebrew National hotdogs in a blanket...my family is crazy about them and they're soooo expensive, so it will be like 1/2 off w/the $5/credit. I'm going to use the other $5.00 and get some ice cream, I have plenty of coupons for that and maybe those frozen dessert coupons that came out awhile back for the Edwards $1.00 off.

Question- can you only do one $5 off $15 per transaction or can if you have multiple sets of frozen foods totalling $15 (and qs) can you do more in one trans? TIA

If you still have the Diary coupon booklet from June, there is a coupon for $1.00 off 2 on Dreyer's slow churned shakes or Dreyer's Smoothies. So if you have enough q's, the math would be like this:

Buy 16 Smoothies = $16.00
5/15 Safeway q=$11.00
minus 8 $1/2 = $3.00 for all. Not too shabby!

Once I managed to use 2 in one transaction, but that was back when they had just introduced the coupons on the card thing. I got to use 2 $5/$15 coupons - one on my card & one cut out of the ad - and purchased $30 worth of frozen vegetables for about $2 (with other coupons involved, of course!).

But I'm not sure you'd be able to get away with it now...

Here is what I do - I use the paper Q from the ad 1st. Then I load the one to my card and us that. Gives me 2 transactions.

A little late to post this but, there are great coupons on the safeway website for reese's ice cream bars, breyers, klondike, and starbucks ice cream. With the digital coupons and the $5 off of $15 I ended up paying $2.00 for all that.

i've been stocking up on the red baron pizza. both singles and full pizzas are 2.99 each. i have some 75c/1 singles Qs that expire today that i need to use and i also ordered some 55c/1 Qs from ebay that are good on any red baron product.

i've been doing this:
5 x 2.99 = 14.95 - (5 x $1mfq) - $5/15 = 5.95 for 5 pizzas. i do have to add a small filler item so i've been using the steamer veggies or some other frozen item i need, but i like to stock my freezer with pizzas at this price!

I have done the Pillsbury breakfast sandwiches $2.50
Use the $1 printable on Coupons.com and the $5 off of $15
Now you would have to have 3 computers or put other items in but it comes out to $.49 per pack.

I did 5 transactions (and picked up a few extra ads to save the $5 off $15 for next week), these might not be the best value for hard-core couponers () but they were awesome/ok for me.
8 marie callendar's $2/each = $16 - $5 = $11 ($1.38/each - awesome price for me - I can't seem to get them under $1.75)
Repeated above 2 more times
8 lean pockets and breakfast pockets $2/each = $16 - $5 = $11 ($1.38/each - just OK)
4 Banquet chicken patties/nuggets $3.99/each = $15.96 - $5 = $10.96 ($2.74/each - just OK)

I'd love to hear others ideas. Looking more for quick lunches, pizzas, etc (trying to stay away from ice cream. Although the abvoe deals are tempting me, ).

so - Stopped at Safeway to do a $5 deal for Frozen items using the Q from the paper - and the cashier gave me 2 Qpon booklets - on the front page is a $5/$15 Q good until 9/30 and there are MFG an Store Q's inside!

The Magnum ice cream was $2.99 at my store. I bought 6, used 6 $1.00 MQ's and the $5 off $15, paid $7 + tax. My husband will be thrilled! This is the first time I found all varieties available; chocolate/chocolate, chocolate/carmel, and chocolate/almond. He doesn't like the dark chocolate.

At a different store I found the Morning Star products 2/$7.00. I bought 4 plus another $2.00 frozen item. Used the $5/15 and 2 $.75/2 morning star (doubled to $1.5 each). I expected to pay $8.00 plus tax, but the JFU electronic q came off as well as the paper q! I paid $3.00 for everything.

This has been a fantastic sale. I'm glad it runs for awhile, but I do need to make some freezer space!
