I believe it is intended for those of us that can find really great deals and share with others, and not get the rude comments that some members can give out.

Some of us have different views in the stockpiling area, and in the new forum we can brag about our trips and what we have found with out any bashing from others and having to defend ourselves to others.

WOW that is an awsome idea. I do stockpile when I can and if I have room but lately but DH has been telling me "no more purchase" even my DD which is 5 yo "mommy do not buy things anymore" (I still do ). I do love and enjoy the stockpile pictures everyone posts. Now on my way to sign up .

I'm sorry, I set up this forum just like the Controversy Corner in that you have to have 100 posts before joining. This is just to make sure that you have made your way around the forum and kind of get a feel for things before getting into something a little more "complicated."

I have a very small stockpile, but I envy the large ones that some of you have. My family will ask "do you have (insert random item here) in the basement?" and I feel badly when I don't

Flaming is just the rude comments that other make when someone post that they purchased a very large amount of items.

Just like bashing, might make a scarastic comment to your shopping trip, making you have to defend yourself.

Over in the serious stockpiling forum, we shouldn't have to defend ourselves, since, flaming isn't allowed.

I am glad to see this forum. I saw some flaming the other day, I don't understand what business it is of anyone else's if you stockpile. I stockpile for all my family (brothers, sisters), not just myself. I am helping out the economy and keeping my local businesses open. I can't wait for all the great ideas!!!!
