Hi there! Only my second post and I have a questions...hehe.

I've been seeing the Fry's VIP Card all over the place and because it says to "Apply" for one I can't tell if it's a CREDIT card or just a loyalty card... Can someone shed some light on this for me? What does the application process consist of?? Is there a credit check or what?

I'd really like to be able to double coupons but I don't want yet another credit card...

The VIP card is a loyalty card that is used to get the specials on sale in the store it is free to join and all you have to do is go to the customer service desk and ask to get their loyalty card fill out the form with your address, phone number, name, email and things like that. When you are done just hand it back in and they will give you a card. There is a credit card as well I think with MasterCard, but that is not a VIP card...

Oh! And I do not think that they always double their coupons, I believe it is just once in a while... best to check and see.

I saw on their website that they double them for VIP member.

If you google "Fry's VIP card doubling coupons" and go to the first link. (I don't have enough posts for links yet...) At the bottom of this page it mentions automatically doubling manufacturer coupons up to $1... I haven't read the coupon policy yet. Is there something to override this??

CURRENTLY Fry's is doubling coupons (all coupons are worth at least $1). The promotion has been going on for awhile, but you never know when it will end. Just after the first of the year it ended. For 2 weeks. LOL!
