I saw in the Sunday paper on Nov. 1st that Fry's will once again accept competitor coupons. The ad states "for a limited time" with no end date listed. The last time they did this, it made for some great deals. I'm looking for coupons now!
Do you guys know of any great coupons to use during this promotion? I'm looking for a Fresh & Easy $/$$ but can't seem to find one that isn't expired.

Just back. What a mob scene. Haven't seen it like this even before a Holiday. Of course, was senior discount day too. Our pantry is full, and another cabinet so putting stuff on top of the laundry room cabinets now.

went yesterday had soom great deals. I told my dh that when I can start feeding a family of 4 under $10.00 a week that i would quite working well I am getting close down to $70.00.

My store took coupons that were from Safeway for free eggs, OJ, muffins, and bacon. I just had to get Fry's brand instead of Safeway brand.

I thought about that, but they were only good at Safeway Sat & Sun. Since we shopped Wed, I didn't think they'd take them. What day did you use them?

They did not double my q's Sat. I spent WAY more then I intended, all my coupons under 1.00 were taken at value: .30/.40/.50 etc. I am ticked. I am planning on going back in but I dont want to get a lecture...

It was Sunday when I shopped. I really didn't even notice those were day restricted. I guess I shopped on the right day!

I spend $60 buck saved $120...66% I think. That's pretty good for me because I do all of my shopping at once, coupon and non-coupon items. I know some will only buy sale/coupon items and show a savings of 95% (HA!). I don't have enough time to do seperate trips to the grocery store. I got meats, fruits, dairy...a weeks worth to feed 5 of us and 6 daycare kiddos

I used tons of Walgreens RR's as competitors coupons. They took them with no problems.

I never tried that. Last time they did this a month or 2 ago, I planned to use my target coupons but they wouldn't take them...said they only took from the list of competitors in the ad. Silly too because there is a super target 2 miles from my Fry's and it is definitely a "competitor".

they still dont consider target as a "grocery" store yet, that is why they arent taking them for this. also......cvs and walgreens are part of it either......and if someone has had them take them........then they can be sure that cashier was wrote up.

This was one of the store managers. Surely they know which coupons they are supposed to take.

not all of them know what is what. we (us cashiers) have been known to take out policy or whatever to show the managers they are wrong

you go girl my cashier is awsome I have know her since we were 4 yrs. old and she lets me now about all the deals. I feel sorry for her they will be going on strike. The shelf were empty today. Boy I stock up as much as I could.
