There is soooo much free with the mix and match deal this week after coupons! I just got back from Frys (had to go before work so they would still have stuff ). Here is what I did (prices shown are prices when you buy 10):

7 keebler fudge shoppe cookies (Dessert can get expensive, these are nice to stock up on in case you get a sweet tooth ) $.99 ea x 7 = $6.93
3 boxes betty crocker potatoes $.99 ea x 3 = $2.97
4 Dole mandarin oranges, 11 oz. $.49 ea x 4 = $1.96
3 Bumble Bee tuna pouches $.49 ea x 3 = $1.47
2 16 oz bags of Kraft shredded cheese $1.99 ea x 2 = $3.98
1 bag BBQ Chex mix (Hubby loves this stuff! ) $1.49

Total: $18.80

(I had two chex coupons on my card from shortcuts and cellfire, but they did not come off... they were $.50 each, so it should have made for free chex mix, but those ecoupons are hit or miss for me )

Frys is double, triple, quadrupling coupons up to $1 (sometimes $.99) this week again! So when all was said and done the the potatoes, fruit, and tuna were free!

No tax on groceries in AZ!
Total after coupons and savings: $1.80
A total savings of $54.73 ($37.75 from club card & $ 16.98 from coupons)

After this and the target deal on cookies, we are stocked up for sure!

I forgot to mention, after I paid a CAT printed out for $0.75 off my next shopping order! It says its from Dole, but I don't know how many dole products you would have to buy to get one.

if you went tonight before 9 pm ( I think 3-9) they have the halloween candy special. Well look super hard, the MnM's bags and some of the snickers/twix had .50 peelies on them, which double to 1.00

So.....each of those bags being 1.88 (Mars candy), minus 1.00 coupon equals .88 a bag!!!! Only two of us saw the peelies and started throwing them in the cart. For .88 not bad...

I went to Fry's this evening for the Halloween event. Our store was packed full of people. My 12 DD had tons of fun. We know most of the people at that store since my son worked there for the longest time.

anyway......
I noticed that the ad listed colgate total for $1 but got to the store to find that the total was $2.50 and regular colgate was $1. I had several coupons for the total which would have made them free and had worked them into my 30 item plan. I had a manager come look at the shelves and she couldn't figure out the reason for the error either. She gave me the LARGE colgate totals for a buck and I had $1 coupons. FREE

My store was out of the tuna already. I'll check back later and get a raincheck if needed. I made it out the door with 30 items for $18 and $9 of that was for 2 of the nothern tp's! My hubby is starting to wonder where I'm going to store stuff. I had to rearrange the cabinets when I got home.

The Walgreen's, CVS, WalMart, and Target deals are national with a few prices that vary due to region. Grocery store deals are a little tougher. If you follow the threads for Kroger, you'll find the deals are very similar at Fry's.

Does your fry's take the printable coupons over $1.oo, i called to ask the policy at my fry's and the said no coupons printed over $1.00. Please let me know if i should call fry's regarding this?????? Thanks

corp policy states that frys will take printable for over $1. but they cant be a "free" coupon or over a certain percentage of the orginal price. i cant remember the percentage off hand.......but i will look it up in my book which i left at work last nite.

I used the 1.60 MQ for the nature valley nut clusters last week without any problems...I ended up with overage so I bought a pack of gum.

Found a tear pad of gatorade coupons at QT today .50 off two double = two free gatorades.

"No tax on groceries in AZ!" That is true - there is no state tax on grocery food, but most cities do tax food. Phoenix does not, but Gordon is mumbling about adding a food tax to balance his budget. Also if you buy groceries in unincorporated areas of the county - such as Sun City. No food tax there at all. It adds up.
